Quoted from bitpatrol:

Are you sure you are 245? If you just ordered, I don't think that is possible right? Did you take over someone else's spot?

bitpatrol what #are you?

Quoted from audihere:

I installed a ColorDMD spec LCD panel in my TNA today. Wow, what a difference! Turns out the stock HDMI to LVDS converter board used on TNA can be reprogrammed with a 1920x1080 firmware file using something like this https://tinyurl.com/y7q6jx36 or you can just buy one of these https://tinyurl.com/y7l6m9yy specifically matched to your HD panel such as one like this https://tinyurl.com/ydel6ahz
Major improvement for the contrast and viewing angle. Pinks and greens look amazing too!
And in typical ColorDMD fashion, first game, I had my best game yet with 5 reactors destroyed!

That is great. The panel that it ships with is white wash looking for sure.

Quoted from bitpatrol:

So when I get my TNA, I need to replace the loud power supply, fix the loud light AND replace the display? wtf.

You do not have to replace anything. But some people like to change pieces of the pins to there liking. I can tell you this none the the item you listed matter once you plug the ball and the game is attacking you.

#2573 5 years ago

Ports for the sub.

#2624 5 years ago

To each his own.
My .02 cents is that TNA is lighting marvel on it own.

No need to Change a thing.

Thank you!

Quoted from Fytr:

Good one!
...and it's modelled after classic System 11 games with simple ramps and interesting playfield layouts.

Thirteen ramps in it?

Can anyone tell or show a pic of where the TNA speaker lit kit plugs in?
Thanks Frankmac.

#2801 5 years ago

Thanks for the pics . I copied your install and my speaker lights are red only.

Double and triple checked and still red.

Sounds like your red and blue are shorted to one another.

Your red and green are shorted to one another.

Same here, not working correctly also.

Quoted from herg:

It seems like your right speaker has the red and green connections swapped.
It should be relatively easy for all of you guys to track down the issues, but I'm also betting if you just send Spooky support a message, they will get you a replacement.

I will take a look . Thx

#3116 5 years ago
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

We recently changed the mounting on these... if anyone is experiencing an issue, email Kayte and she'll get you a replacement set right away.
Sorry! No excuses, just something we could have made better.

Thanks, Charlie and Spooky I will email KT for the new part!

Thanks for awesome service!!!

Big thanks to the Spooky team. My replacement light kit came in the mail and is working perfectly with the machine.

I know how busy Spooky Pinball must be but they stuck with me and made sure it was solved!

To me “THAT MEANS EVERYTHING”
Thank you!

For the amount of time that you see the screen during play it is a non-issue.

In a dark room with the adjustments set to your liking it is fine.

To be fair other screen are better in regards to viewing angle but you would have to be picky in my opinion to replace.

To each there own. Mine stays stock.

Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

We caught this on in a show game prior to Pinburgh when we sent TnA to the tourney... on some of the posts, the impact is so high in this game it can cause the post to move a bit and basically scrape. We've since moved to being extra careful and making sure the posts are installed in the direction of the impacts to help eliminate it, and added mylar circles under the super high stress spots. Not ideal, but it does help.
This was the fix we did to the show game, and it's been fine ever since. (see photos). No touch ups, just mylar.
It's not the direct impacts so much that hurt the board... ours can hold up and take a ton of abuse. It's the star posts moving that cause the issue.
Anyone needs the mylar circles, reach out to [email protected] and we'll send them to you immediately.
The scoop edge, it's going to take wear. Much of it is luck... our show game has almost none, our route game has a couple spots that took really hard shots. We concave that edge to protect it the best we can, but ... only can do so much. Steel ball is always going to win.
We made a couple changes on Alice boards already to make sure we don't see this again. Different posts & rubber combinations, art choked farther back, etc.
Doing all we can to stay on top of everything... even the best playfields are tough to get perfect.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

This post takes a lot of abuse on TNA. Shots at the targets and the scope hit here hard and often. Just a thought.
