Quoted from estrader:

Brite buttons from pinball life purple.

Yes but which ones? Spooky is not listed as a manufacturer and I'm not familiar with which one would have a similar connection.

Just made the final payment on mine!
First order of business is to figure out how to play my TNA with headphones so I can enjoy the music without pissing off the family. Has anyone done this yet?

(install a headphone jack, not piss off my family).

Thanks for any advice...

Quoted from rai:

I’ll wait, thanks.
This is a fantastic pin either way.
You’re the Willy Wonka of pinball designers.

I like to think of Scott as Elon Musk. TNA is a Tesla. That works for me in my world.

Quoted from xeneize:

The playfield damage under the posts is a bummer...I have a non-pinhead friend who recently made the comment:
"Man, you pinball guys are NUTS! You spend all this money on a device which by the sheer nature of using it, is actually destroying it!"
He was referring to the battle of steel against wood and plastic. My point is, you don't even have to be in the hobby to realize that pinball machines aren't just "toys", or even "commercial equipment". They are "consumables" and they require constant adjustment and maintenance!
All of my personal experience and the overwhelming majority of testimonials from others is that the team at Spooky are the most committed, caring, and customer-centric outfit in the industry.
Photo taken last night... my whole family loves TNA! Thank you, Charlie, Kayte, Scott, and Co!

After reading all this back and forth today my only comment is, "Holy Crap, the kid is on reactor 8!"

Quoted from lpeters82:

It's timed. There is little time for that. Perhaps they need to have a sensor in the pingulp to award extra points for taking your hand away from the game to grab your beer.

And if you're not taking a drink, I suggest the following while you are waiting the "reactor start up sequence":
1. Take two steps back from the machine
2. Do a little boxer "bob and weave" move.
3. Hop twice
4. Crane your neck left and right while evaluating your opponent prior to a battle - like in all those kung fu movies
5. Take two steps forward
6. Dip you head.
7. Resume game.

Quoted from Jakers:

I always found it a bit hard to see how far I was pulling the plunger for those critical skill shots (I prefer to play my games in the dark). I replaced the black shooter tip with white and put a yellow piece of vinyl under the dashes. Also spiced up the bottom portion with a nuclear symbol. I like how it turned out.[quoted image]

I just lit mine. It's still easy to see with the room lights off.

It’s pretty close to classic Bally height.[quoted image]

I put the taller Stern legs on mine. She stands prouder next to my other pins.

What cabinet protectors are those that are lighting up?

Known issues so far:
1. Changing the GI Color setting requires you to power cycle the game after adjusting the setting.

Scott, by any chance did you fix the ball bounce in the shooter lane causing an autofire? Maybe it was on a previous release and I didn't see it?

#6347 3 months ago
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:

I actually don't remember, what was the issue again? If I am remembering correctly, I think I could not replicate the issue around this, but I will need a refresher.

When the ball is served into the shooter lane and bounces (hits the shooter lane switch twice) the game will autolaunch the ball. I believe it thinks the ball was launched once and drained. On the bounce (second time the switch closes) it autolaunches... as I recall. I have a video of it somewhere...

I think you told me via an email once that you were going to put a delay on that switch, so a bounce wouldn't register as a new ball.

Edit. I just found the video. LMK if you want me to email it to you.
