Following. Never played tna but interested in the 2.0. Any guesses on price? Wish it was in the large cab like my Rick and morty. Just looks off with all others being larger.

I created a poll at this url to get a ballpark on how many people are interested in next tna run. Everyone vote so we can see!
From my earlier poll not many are in at 9k so maybe 250 will be enough. How hard do you think it will be to secure one? Sell out in minutes at this price or longer? Never bought a spooky new so not sure how fast they go.
Thoughts on black powder coat instead of chrome? Like the chrome better since sterns are mostly black. Anyone have any custom colors they did? Post pics.
Don’t worry spooky about the bad feedback I’m still buying. Do your thing just make them solid is all I ask.
Just ordered. At first gave me an error then I redid it and it said I had already ordered and can't order again. Checked my account and was in there so I'm all set!!! Called Spooky this morning with questions. Nice to be able to call and talk to someone.
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:curious what time you ordered?
10am and probably only 20 seconds in. I was prepared.
Yeah I got my power ball in yesterday as well as the lighted rail mod, pop bumper, and full cliffy set. Ready to roll.
Just got one power ball $40. Cliffy is two months out so get your orders in now. Doesn’t have his sons working at the moment.
I worked with pinside to add the 2.0 machine to the original TNA listing as a subset. This way we know what is what for when someone sells it and can add the 2.0 to our collection since its a different trim level. Also probably go for a higher price as well. Please link this thread to the new page.
Going to call it Rerun Black Metallic Trim instead of 2.0 after speaking with Scott. It matters to know which version you have. This trim level is a lot more money and also only 250. Does it matter if you have an Elvira Prem or a 40th. Same game yes but different package.
Personally had a Batman catwoman and I sold it for more $$ and easier bc was a catwoman. There are those who seek out catwoman so having a subset on wishlist would help them. That is the exact same just art. This tna has a bit different internals and head plus trim and extra so it’s more a collector edition per say. It really needs a subset so you can tell them a part. Only reason you wouldn’t is if maybe you own the original I guess but for me I want to show the new model in my collection list to tell them apart from old and new versions. Same with Elvira 40th. Paying that much you want to look at the pin map and see where they are and split it up a bit. Imo I would have added catwoman as a subset too to be more specific. Paying a premium for new tna I want to show the version I have. Makes a difference to me at least.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:My vote is we call it "Total Nuclear Annihilation Collector's Edition". They are going to update the Spooky website asap.

Sounds great. Much better

Scott it has been changed to CE now. Good call on that.
Quoted from Jakers:Gotcha. Will the new kelly green displays be available to purchase? I upgraded my lower display a long time ago and it is green so I'd like to keep the green up top in the reactor as well. I found my old order but when I click on "reorder" I get an error code.

I got these and are green.

First nib from spooky. So do they build it then when done email you for payment or will they ask for payment now if I’m #9? About how long from payment to shipping out? Do they do remaining balance on a credit card or checking wire?
Quoted from zermeno68:Yup. Got invoice right now.. the Tax man is gonna get paid. Ugh…
What is surprising is the shipping cost. Crazy rates these days. Quoted $765, but have not heard of the freight Spooky is using (I don’t do a lot of freight shipping).
One step closer!! Yes!
Mine is $344 but I’m two states away. You are far.
Scott have a good idea. Prob won’t happen but Elwin hates the Blue Oster song when you destroy the building on Godzilla. They need you to do the song for this and would be a winner.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:Here it is everyone!!!

Thank you to all that helped me test this out!!!
Yeah mean 2022 not 2020
Emailed asking about status of my ce #9 and was told shipping very soon. Also asked about monitor and it’s the same as my Rick and morty which the blacks are too bright. I live with it but they need a better monitor.
Went out today. Tracking received. Eta is Wednesday since I’m close by them. I’ll try to do a video.
Pallet shipped weight was 340 lbs. that’s up there with jjp I think. A lot for a small cabinet. Sterns maybe 250-260lbs
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:Open her up so we can see her insides!
Actually, if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to see the inside of the back box. Please.
Yeah have videos of everything I’m putting together.
Spooky really needs better pics. Mine are better LOL. video is done, about 36 min and I'll upload to YouTube and post here.
Quoted from tectonyc:Kinda weird that the shooter housing is stainless whereas every other bit of metal on the game is black.
Yeah covered that in my video. Spooky sent me to their guy to buy a black one.
The shooter housing is a horrible cheap chrome look. Prob what was on original. I'll change it out to match black. Butter looks awesome on Halloween because the art is amazing. Not worth cost imo on tna. I changed monitor settings and still don’t like the crispness of the image so plan to change that out and see what it does.
Full cliffy installed and pop bumper. Cliffy scope was a pain in the ass. Had to bend a bit to sit flush. Had to take a bunch of stuff off to get it in.

You can turn the knob to adjust but these are super annoying. Any ideas???
Quoted from Pinzzz:Please let me know if any balls get hung-up on that scoop Cliffy. Thanks
Yeah I’m going to remove the scoop and drain cliffy and leave only shooter. Keeps getting hung up. Prob Mylar.
Quoted from PinMonk:Cover the inductors in the power supply with hot glue. Just get cheap hot glue gun and some glue sticks and bury the offenders. Should be about $10-$15 for the gun and some glue sticks.
The inductors are the little square box-looking things and are most-likely the cause of the whine, but you can narrow down which inductor(s) are causing the issue with a small food funnel held over each part and your ear in the big part of the funnel. This will somewhat isolate the part so you can see which area of the board is the loudest. It will probably be one or more inductors. The only thing NOT to do is cover the tops of the capacitors because the tops need to be able to vent if there's an issue.
To me it sounds like it’s coming from where the wires go into the plastic light strips. The connection. Not the dial box. I’ll have to play with it.
Quoted from Pinzzz:Where does it get hung up? Upper core roll into scoop? Could you post a picture of the ball in that area with the hang up? How about a piece of mylar where it gets hung up, to cover the offending edge of the Cliffy and hold it down to the playfield (a little mylar ramp to help the ball roll over the edge?)
Yes roll in scoop. I’ll try some Mylar and see.
PinMonk pic inside lighted rail control box. This is making the noise. It isn’t as bad since I moved the power to another port. Where do you hot glue? I think once it’s inside the cabinet and sealed you won’t hear it. Hooked on said it’s loader if the lights aren’t flat and that’s true. Layered out flat much better.
1DED8689-3B84-4D95-9F85-6553423FF55C (resized).jpegQuoted from PinMonk:Can you take a pic from the other angle so I can see behind the coil? Because I don't see any inductors, so that big coil is probably the issue.
Yeah probably the coil. Not sure why someone couldn’t just hook to a gi, I don’t need to adjust the settings just light. Prob won’t work.
No it sticks to the metal not the cabinet. Was easy to do. I like it.
There are two ribbons on each time display and so far in 20 plays or so both have worked loose. First top then ball save. Machine just vibrates so much. Going to throw some hot glue on them but Scott can you tell spooky to do this too?
Quoted from insight75:How does it get hung up in the scoop? I have one ready to go when my machine arrives but if its a problem I won't bother.
Rolling in from the reactor to scoop it hangs up. I put Mylar there and doubled it up and it helped. May do a triple layer to make a ramp. I think it’s worth the protection. Seems like the tna cliffy was build for wood that is a touch thicker then the ce. Maybe original was a fraction thicker wood. Not much.
Spoke to Lanez and the shooter rods are available on this link.
https://www.lanezcustomsteel.com/collection/black-sparkle-shooter-rod-housing
My sound was great out of box. When it starts a game the sound goes then the bass kicks in a moment after.
The lockdown bar is a bit of an issue and hard for me to get down like normal. It’s almost like glass is an 1/8” too long on the right got side and the bar gets in the way. I have to push the glass in really well and mess with it a little to get it down. The left side is fine but right catches a bit. Almost like it’s not perfectly square. Not a huge deal it needs to be tight or would shake.
When you do a soft plunge I see on others original games it goes to the right flipper to trap for multiball. Mine hits the top of right sling and goes to the left. Any suggestions? Yes it’s level.
People been asking for updates on side light fix. Do at your own risk. Low heat and don’t touch tip to anything. If your handy it’s a 5 min fix.
Pics. First I sealed the large coil and didn’t do anything. Then did it better as well as smaller one. It’s still there but much lower. Turn the knob to adjust light down and put box in bottom of cabinet. By the time you put the glass on it’s almost gone!!!!

Anyone else have this problem? The left side of the plastic hide is out twice as far as the right side.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Lift playfield and there are a few screws holding the plastic on. Prob have to screw in a bit. I have to push down in my glass a bit to get into the channel. Move out the legs to square the cab. The lockdown bar is tight if not squared off.
How would I adjust the left back gate? Ball sometimes gets stuck on metal gate flap and have to shake loose.
Quoted from Pinball_Eddie:Any chance you could post some pics after installed?
Thanks
I will just been busy with work haven’t installed.
Quoted from zermeno68:Got to say this… Spooky’s customer service is top notch.
I communicate via email as I work remotely caring for my kid right now and email is easiest for me.
AJ was my representative and must say he handled my request smoothly and quickly.
Will be provided an updated back glass along and other items to replace.
Kudos Spooky. This was a great experience compared to other companies I have dealt with.
Thankfully, all of my issues right now are just cosmetic only which I am comfortable dealing with myself.
Yeah same here… emailed back in less than few hours. Still waiting on parts from Stern from 9 months ago and no emails in weeks.
Quoted from scottieIA:I just received and installed my new backglass from Spooky and it looks great. So much better!
Did they send tracking? I’m waiting on mine plus apron fix.
Quoted from woodmedic:Think I am going to join the club very soon. Anyone have the lighted rail mod they would sale? I’d really like to add that mod but seems to be sold out.
It’s load so prob stopped selling them. Mine is okay after I glued the crap out of the inside of electric box but it would make a load hum noise.
It works but just loud unless you take it apart and hot glue it inside. I still like it, some said it only ran a year. I don’t keep my games on unless I’m playing so hopefully works a long time.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:The reactor value does not decay, but this is something I thought would make the game a bit too difficult for average players to get decent scores on.
For me, programming the game, the trick is to balance the frustration levels for the average person. If people get too frustrated, they are not going to keep playing. This I think pushes them over the edge, so I decided against it. The reactor temperature will cool when the reactor is running, but once it is critical, it will lock in place.
--Scott
Yeah good call on that.
You could move the target that needs to be hit after locked in. Like a timer maybe would be cool.
