Quoted from Deez:Did you have to request your number or do you eventually get an email with it? I paid my deposit Tuesday but haven't received any further communication.
They normally give it to you right away, but in my case they forgot and I had to request it.
They will send a follow up email asking for any desired add-ons before they give the number. I only got the plastic protectors they install. I plan to install the shaker and mirror blades from Pinball Life myself later on.
Quoted from Fytr:I agree. Gives you another reason to keep striving for later reactors. Better bet is to setup the game easier if you are never able to progress to later reactors.
Reminds me of playing endless hours of Tunnels of Doom back in the day (early graphical role-playing game for the TI 99 4/A) when we'd all get so excited when the color scheme would change when a deeper lever of the dungeon was reached. ...it's the simple things.
Dude, you sound like you're as old as I am!
Cheers!
Seriously,
I was a keyboard player for years. Played in many bands. Was into electronica music for quite a while. Experimented with many synths all the way back beginning in the early 80's with the Arp Odyssey, later the Access Virus before I lost most of my hearing to a virus infection (no pun intended). Scott is brilliant with his electronic music. Wish I had that kind of talent! Thank you Scott for this awesome table.
OK, now for the next question
When does the knocker knock? Is it used for diagnostic cues like my F-14 does or just for free games, balls, hi scores etc?
Thanks..
Quoted from beatmaster:i've been watching a few videos and man this game is growing on me.
I see you have a STpro. I almost had one and the dude changed his mind. That led to me discovering TNA and now I have a deposit down.
Quoted from Sinestro:Real knocker. You buy it from Pinball Life.
Your answer doesn't fit the question?
But never mind. Spooky Charlie already explained it to me.
Quoted from BorgDog:Care to share with the rest of us?
It works in coil test in diagnostics, but is mainly for game play. I don't know exactly which events trigger it, but I would assume high scores and maybe free games.
If you don't get the knocker, it will give you a speech prompt for the awards, but no ugly "screech" sound like s Stern cabinet gives you.
Quoted from Fytr:I love knockers!
I hope it knocks 3 times when you put up a GC score! Old school!
Great idea!
You should send a PM to TheNoTrashCougar and request it.
Quoted from DJNOEL30:I’m very excited,I definitely should have pulled the trigger a while ago.
You must take a cold shower! LOL
I would also like to know.
#189 here.
I would be surprised if they're up to that number per week! But I hope so.
Quoted from Wallofnoise:Hahah you guys are enablers! The grand down payment is a good idea. I've gone through a Pinball distributor in the past, but never a NIB from the manufacturer. Is it normal to go straight through Spooky for their pins? I'll definitely consider it a bit more!
Well I wouldn't advise going direct with Spooky if there is any slight chance you may need to back out of your purchase. Spooky won't refund your deposit. Pinball Star will allow you to sell your position and they will help you do so. The person buying your spot will have to pay you the deposit for your spot. I'm not sure if Spooky will help you with this. You better ask them first if you are concerned.
Quoted from Toads:I'm guessing Pinball Star won't refund your deposit either?
Spooky will also allow you to sell your position if you have a new buyer.
Spooky will also help you with sourcing a new buyer.
As I stated, "The person buying your spot will have to pay you the deposit for your spot." So it's the same either way then.
Quoted from hayrebear:#256. The wait begins. I just wish I would have wasted 2 months debating it with myself.
But you did?
Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:Congrats! As somebody who has very narrow doors and does this for every game, how the heck did you get your WOZ in seeing as it's a widebody? Bring it down on its side? Or do you remove the head to reduce weight carrying up stairs? Bummer about those three wires, I have a TNA #169 coming, but getting my doors widened next week so thankfully no more decapitating my games
No biggie, all you have to do is install a walkout basement!
Quoted from RobT:I'll be ordering the upgraded screen and board soon.
All Spooky needs to do is tilt the display back like Stern does and this would help a lot. TNA suffers worse than normal because the backbox is already lower than standard pincab as to the early Bally design.
Quoted from RobT:I was considering doing this myself (wouldn't be hard to do) until I saw how bad the viewing angle is. The screen would have to be angled so much that it would look a bit ridiculous.
Put it up on blocks. LOL!
I think Spooky should have stuck with a modern cab.
Quoted from moonduckie78:Question for anyone who has the speaker lights.
Please go into Tests>Coils and scroll down to the RGB Outputs and test each one. My RGB Blue flashes blue, but my RGB Red and Green both flash yellow for some reason. Does yours flash yellow, too???
Captain Obvious here.
Red and Green make Yellow.
Quoted from moonduckie78:But I’m running separate tests for the red channel and the green channel. So it shouldn’t flash yellow.
Yes, but it is. Isn’t it?
Quoted from cabuford:That looks incredible. I was a Guitar Hero/Rock Bank junkie for a while. Looks like that mashed up with Fruit Ninja. Glad I don't have a VR headset or I'd have another way to waste too much time I don't have.
I have Oculus. It's cool but pinball is way better IMO. Porn is great though!
Quoted from Jakers:#189 is home and playing brutal as expected. What an addicting game!
Glad your are enjoying my TNA. LOL!
Cheers!
Quoted from Jakers:haha! I most certainly am. Stop by and play it if you're ever in the area!
I still may get one some day!
