Quoted from crwjumper:I’m in. #191. Hope to get it this year. I understand that they are building 50 a week. Is that correct?
How long ago did you order?
Quoted from PDFVT:Yep, ship to:
Spooky Pinball LLC
Attn: KT - TNA (your #)
184 Ridge Ave
Benton WI 53083
Awesome, thanks. Still waiting in my number. Dumb holidays.
Quoted from Deez:Number should be on the comment line of your invoice.
Oh wow, I was looking at the mobile version of the invoice. Clicked the option to view the full pdf.
So am I in the club at #225?
B7877E27-F9C4-4937-93F3-9DDBEE307298 (resized).jpeg
Fingers-crossed by my birthday in April.
Quoted from crwjumper:What choices were you given “for art decals etc.”? I didn’t know that there were any choices on things like that.
These are the extras you can add. I already sent a shaker and knocker to them. I’m probably going with plastic protectors and inner art as well.
Everything but the butter lol
Quoted from Fytr:That's the beauty of it, nobody really knows for sure because nobody's been all the way there yet!
It's all just rumour and mystery. Love it!
PS> For the record, I predict that if you blow the 9th reactor TNA will overload the shaker, subwoofer, and LEDs in an awesome explosion of lights/sound/motion that totally destroys the game but is so incredible that it's totally worth it! Game over man, game over.
That was my theory. That after you beat the last reactor you actually die and the game ends. Donkey Kong kill screen.
TheNoTrashCougar and mandraws should put out a comic to tell the story of TNA (so what if Dialed In did it first )
Does the hero even have a name?
Quoted from EricHadley:Just paid my deposit!!!!! Now for the wait........
Welcome to the club! Let us know your number when you know!
Quoted from EricHadley:Sorry, must have been posting just as I edited my post......#250
Can someone tell me what the deal is with the 4 coins??? http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=4706
Nice! 25 since my order not long ago!
Quoted from Wallofnoise:At #253 I'm curious at how long it's supposed to be before you get it? I'm now considering getting one at some point soon-ish.
Get in now and ride it out with the rest of us!
I think they are trying to discourage drop outs and avoid making things messy. I like the idea of getting a number and keeping it.
Quoted from RefugeNate:Playing TNA for the first time last night and the auto plunge would fire the ball and it sometimes would rattle on the sides and come back down. The auto plunge would try again and the ball would rattle against the side and not make it past the gate. Could it be the metal ramp fork or screws getting in the way? Anyone else seen this?
Could be, but I would think the shooter tip alignment would be the more likely culprit. Like maybe it’s rattling the sides before it even gets to the ramp?
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Scott Danesi is awesome... that we know! The game is crazy addictive. I felt like a jerk yesterday when a customer showed up to get his game, and I'm on ball 3 of my best game ever and kinda made him wait.
My mom could have walked in at that moment and I would have been focused on ball 3.
Pinball comes first!
Quoted from johnnyutah:Just read on the Bookface: Soundtrack on cassette tape coming soon? Dope!
Sweet! Do vinyl too!
Quoted from LTG:Restriction Of Hazardous Substance. ( Means no lead and harmful stuff )
LTG : )
Learned something new. Thanks!
Who’s going to make a coin door cassette deck mod. Insert tape into coin door and cassette music plays through game speakers instead of game programmed music.
“Hang on, lemme just cradle this ball a sec while I flip this sucker over to side B.”
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:We do have some super pretty apron cards he could sign...
Nice! Sign me up!
Quoted from jesselee72:Got my TNA CASSETTE! Loaded into a Wurlitzer cassette jukebox.
Cassette jukebox?! Never seen one. Awesome!
Quoted from hank527:Am I in the minority wishing the scoop would do something in other modes? Even a splash screen would be cool. Something like access denied or a screen telling you were to shoot.
Love the game though. Had 4 reactors and list my ball. Sooooooo pissed.
A hurry up would be fun. Snack bar style.
Quoted from jwilson:Not every game needs every thing from every other game.
Said everybody always.
Quoted from iepinball:Late night TNA stream starting soon at http://twitch.tv/iepinball
Love the stream. Fun watch! Hope to catch it live next time. Thanks!
Quoted from thedarkknight77:You are the true AntiStern Scott.........Who wouldn’t love that response! You my friend are one of us! In Danesi we trust!
Quoted from Owlnonymous:Starting up a TNA stream in a few minutes at 7PM EST. Let's blow up some reactors! http://twitch.tv/owlnonymous
Over already?
Quoted from Deez:I received an invoice to cover the balance last the Thursday before last then received an email from Kayte with a shipping tracking number yesterday.
Did you get any add ons? Shaker, plastic protectors, etc?
Quoted from Anonymouse:Relax. Your game isn't gonna come any sooner because you paid an extra thirty dollars. Namaste
What? Was just curious about his game. Nothing to do with when I get my game. You’re kinda a weirdo.
Quoted from OnTheSnap:I added a 4th ball, and the game is playing fine. All scoops are empty. This AM I looked around all the slings and didn't see a ball hiding.
LOL. How can an entire pinball be missing!! I will keep looking around for it.
Probably too close to the reactor when it blew. Blown to smithereens. I’ve seen it happen.
Quoted from trilogybeer:My TNA was at MGC all weekend and did very well . Scott updated the code to the latest version he is working on Saturday morning and 472 plays were put on it after that . The game was also used for the clock choas tourny friday night and was told that around 150 games were played on it on the current code that is available . Total games played on it at MGC is in the ballpark of 630 .
Wow, 39 second average ball time. I gotta get prepared to have my ass handed to me by this game.
Quoted from crwjumper:Got my TNA yesterday. I’ve played a bunch of games with Owlnonymous on his early TNA. I set mine up at 6.5 degrees and all set to default. I’ve been tuning in the switches so that the targets register when you hit them - they are gapped quite large from the factory. I’ve probably put 100 games on it so far and just got a nice G.C. Love this game but wow is it hard!
Congrats ... have enjoyed watching you guys on the streams.
Quoted from OnTheSnap:If there is any doubt about TNA as a family game. It was the highlight of my daughters 10th birthday party. The girls spent maybe 90m playing co-op mode.
We love it!!
» YouTube video
That’s adorable. Can’t wait anymore!
Quoted from FatPanda:Officially in the club! #163 picked up today for those keeping track
We also got a special playfield
Congrats! So cool! What does it mean you think? First she assembled?
Quoted from DK:I’m 223! Yay!
Woohoo! #225 checking in.
Kinda hoping they shut TNA down at #500 and Danesi game 2 is the next to be the ongoing build game.
Quoted from Jkush18:What number are you??
Looks like #223 since he quoted himself. I’m so close!
I found the volume pot on the amp. All is right with the world and I can play without being evicted!
Anyone have a good shooter rod upgrade suggestion? The stock one I have had some rough edges (on the black handle) and feels like it’s grinding when pulled... making the skill shot tricky.
Not in love with the radiation one.
Quoted from herg:Swinks has a design for that on Shapeways as well. I just opted for the nuclear symbol.
https://www.shapeways.com/product/XBBLP7E82/shooter-knob-nuclear-tna-symbol?optionId=68456455&li=marketplace
Ooh, love it! Thanks
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:Sounds like a washer is binding up on your shooter rod. Try removing the washer that is between the inner (long) spring and the shooter housing.
--Scott
Still felt a little crunchy for me so I bought some other tension springs to play around with.

Oh man, my game won’t boot now.
It just cycles the score readouts forever.
Any help?
The noise you hear is from my dehumidifier not the game.
Quoted from Rascal_H:Oh man, my game won’t boot now.

Ehh, powering off and on a few times didn’t help... but unplugging the game from the wall and popping it it into a power strip did. I don’t know. Happy to have my game back.
Quoted from Maide:It's not necessarily that I don't want them, it's that they've (all but one) bubbled up and are falling off with fewer than 50 plays. Since mine will only ever be HUO while I own it, I don't mind and I will remove the ones that have come up, but if these are designed to address an issue, they're not working too well.

If someone has another solution to protect this area please let me know. Already losing paint on the playfield.
Quoted from Grizlyrig:You are already through the clearcoat and into paint?
-Mike
Quoted from NeilMcRae:rascal_h i'd really like to see a picture of that so I can figure out a solution before it happens to mine. thanks.
Neil.
There shouldn’t be white in front of this post, correct? From all the pictures I can find it’s solid black in this area. The post on the other side looks like the art is raised slightly in front of the post. If I had to guess it’s not so much from ball impact as it is tightening down the star post really hard... maybe on a playfield that wasn’t fully cured? I’m no expert... just kinda sucks.
4668F710-8DC1-42FF-B3BA-571CEABE8FB4 (resized).jpeg
Eh, I’m still going with over tightened posts on an not fully cured playfield.
Bummed this can’t be fixed.
Quoted from Muskie82:My game has this as well at the post. So your saying that's the only post they over tightened on the game? Multiple people are seeing this on games. How could they of planned for that? I get what Charlie is saying. That post takes a beating. Sucks that it happens but what are you going to do. I installed a thin piece of rubber pond liner underneath that post to absorb some of the shock and cushion the blow. So far so good
The beating doesn’t help. But I posted pictures of it happening in 3 different areas. One is the lowest post on a sling.
Quoted from Whysnow:are you sure it if not from too loose of a post? rather than too tight?
Seems like damage from a ball rocking the star post on angle due to being loose? With the speed of TNA, I have found you need to be sure to check for snugness of posts every so often.
Definitely not. It’s aloose like they are sunk beneath the clear.
Quoted from Maide:I'm sorry if I was too blunt in my questions before, I definitely don't want to accuse you all of ignoring issues/etc. We all see the games getting delivered in this thread, and that's one of the biggest statements a company can make.
I'll email KT about ordering a set of mylar rings and give that a shot.
I wonder if flat metal washers sized the same as the mylar could help disperse the energy, or if it'd just dig into the playfield. It'd need to hug the screw to not move around, I guess.
I still think we can work out a better solution than throwing some gummy worms under the posts. Maybe the metal washers, but I’m afraid those would sink too and just cause a bigger problem.
How much is a new playfield that I can let cure properly in my home?
Fresh back from Staples. Got the cards from Scott’s site printed on a heavy card stock. Came out real nice. I got another set laminated but they came out too big to fit. Using the unlaminated ones for now.

I'm not very handy but would appreciate a how to guide.
You should go into switch test mode with the glass off and go around rolling a pinball into the switches to test how sensitive they are.
The switches themselves are just two pieces of metal with a gap. When the gap closes a switch is registered. You can bend the blades toward the playfield and away from the foam backing a bit. Then you just have to sure there is still a gap between the blades and you didn’t permanently close the switch. Bend the rear blade back a bit if needed.
Basically, don’t be afraid to bend stuff. It’s meant to bend and worst case scenario it’s replaceable. Would recommend making minor adjustments while taking breaks to retest in switch test mode.
Game is so evil it tilted me even when I wasn’t shaking the nudging! I’m thinking the steady thump of Scott’s sick beats combined a good amount of shaker got it rocking. I like the sensitivity of it though. Gonna have to learn to trap the ball and let it settle when needed.
After a long week of work TNA rewarded me with a new GC (good by my standards)! Sometimes it’s fun to just go for multiball jackpots instead of solely focusing on reactors.
I’m sometimes getting an extra ball spit out in the middle of gameplay. Seems to happen mostly when a ball is shot out of a scoop. Happened just now after I reset the locks and it shot out of right scoop. Any ideas?
AA709B71-B8C7-4F0E-9618-C873B50A22F7 (resized).jpegQuoted from aobrien5:Replay value set to EB?
I mean it will just throw a ball into the shooter lane and fire it into play. Just happened again on my last game... more than once. Maybe a loose connector somewhere.
Quoted from luckycreature:Just got my game and I'm a noob at owning. How do I get the underneath to stay up when I want to work on something? I don't see anything to lock in into place?
With a hand in each side carefully pull the playfield out and toward you until it stops. Then lift the front of the playfield and keep going up until it rests against the backbox. You might want a towel or something on the backbox to prevent scratching stuff up. Once it’s tilted back you should be able to get at anything you need to get at.
Quoted from Robertstone0407:Saw this on facebook today. Looks like its something common across another manufacturer
[quoted image]
What game is that?
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:That will not solve it. The flippers are PWM'd on TNA and will buzz a little when being held. Unfortunately, this is perfectly normal and not much I can do about it.
--Scott
No problem, as long as it’s not harmful. Thanks!
Scott, think you already answered this but maybe you (or someone else) can diagnose.
Balls are randomly added to game. At some points when it gets real bad it’s continuous and balls are thrown into the game as quickly as they can drain. So I’ll get like a 4 ball Multiball going for no reason.
Something to do with the trough?
Also, it might be time to go through my game and tighten stuff up... the pop fell apart and it’s hardware was laying on the bottom of the cabinet. Powerful shaker!
Anyone have any ideas? Game worked fine. I lifted playfield (with game off) to check tightness of pop bumper screws. Put playfield back down... now this. Just cycles through score displays.
EDIT: jiggled a wire going to the display and game works now
Quoted from pinmister:Had TNA come in the house and my son looks at me and says "Dad what game is that?" I looked at the TNA girl and thought of Ready Player One. I replied " It is Ready Player One" and he looked up at me with a huge smile. He now says everyday-"Dad let's play some Ready Player One." He is starting to learn the control necessary for this game-lots of cradling and trying to avoid center shots. We are loving this game, wish I would have bought it sooner.
I smell retheme!
Weird, just watched this with the neighbor kids over the weekend. They loved it!
Quoted from manadams:May be picking a HUO TNA up soon, anything specific to look for as far as issues these have had?
Closely inspect the playfield around all star posts... especially the ones that take the hard shots in the center.
Switched to Titan flipper rubbers and I feel like my scores have improved. Nice grippy-ness for better ball control. Predictable bounces although some crazy English on high speed hits.

For reference this what I took off. They were good.. but a little too slick.
Quoted from 27dnast:Touché
Although, you can buy a bike with training wheels - stock. And guess what... they can be removed!
I actually removed the flipper bats on my TNA. Nudging and slings only!</Touché
Although, you can buy a bike with training wheels - stock. And guess what... they can be removed!

Rookie. I removed the sides of my cabinet.
Killed reactor 5 for the first time. So close to starting 6. Bummed I didn’t get that extra ball. New GC is 2,873,675. I’ve got a ways to go but I’m getting closer! I really feel this game is making me a better player.
Quoted from atrainn:In my experience lately Mr. Pinball has been nothing but scammers. Every single machine I've messaged sellers about on that site in the past year or so has been an obvious scam.
And all the listings are sooo old. That site is dead.
Quoted from PinDoctor82:This game is definitely unique. I can't decide if I like the playfield all that much, but the music and sound is just so hypnotizing. I'm not an owner...just a closet fan (feel free to invite me over to play it in co-op mode because I haven't gotten to do that yet after just finding the game on location about an hour from me).
You’re invited! I haven’t played a lot of co-op mode yet.
Quoted from SDTMinSTL:Not many. 4 maybe? Star Trek LE, Fathom, Meteor and now... TNA. There is some I would have a hard time letting go, but those 4, they ain't leaving.
TNA and Creature are bolted to my floor.
Help! Anyone’s game ever do this? It did it a couple nights ago and it went away after I rebooted. In the most recent instance it happened right after locking my second ball.
I have something going on during multiball. Keep getting awarded triple jackpot over and over again if I get it once. Opto maybe?
Hmm, thought green would screw up all of the hard work Scott put into lighting. But since he plugged them on his own Facebook I might have to rethink that.
Quoted from Rob-T-800:Fluorescent pink and green plastic protectors.[quoted image]
Wow, that’s nice!
Quoted from Rascal_H:I have something going on during multiball. Keep getting awarded triple jackpot over and over again if I get it once. Opto maybe?
Quoted from Whysnow:got to be an flakey opto wire or opto itself.
Put game in switch test and pound on the pf to see if anything registers.
Do it with that drop target in both the up and down position.
Thanks Whysnow. Just to close out this issue... Was just a simple loose wire going to the third drop target. When I touched it fell off. Funny that it was hanging on for dear life so when I scored a triple jackpot on that switch it would go all haywire and keep awarding it the jackpot over and over. I stripped the wire down a bit and gave it a nice strong solder. Works great now. Maybe I should reset my scores lol.

Quoted from ramsfan:Scott, I think I speak for everyone here that we really appreciate your continued work on the code, and your sincere interactions with the TNA owners on Pinside, as part of your effort to help them get their games dialed in (me especially!!!). It speaks to who you are. Thank you.
I don’t appreciate it. TNA is already perfection. Bring on Danesi #2!
Has anyone’s lit side rails mod stopped lighting? I traced the wires and didn’t find any loose connections. Just wondering if maybe there’s something I’m not thinking of trying.
Quoted from VolunteerPin:Speaking of skill shots, I have an absolutely terrible time ever getting my plunge to go through the top lanes. Either too soft or too hard. Any suggestions?
I have the same issue. Just really tough I think. I’ve even played with different shooter rod springs.
It weird because I can basically hit any lane I want on my CFTBL which is a similar skill shot.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:Yeah, I removed it from the boot screen. It is now in the service menu.
Beepgate is in the Beta if you guys want a sneak peek at that. The song Scarlett will not be in the game and is exclusive to the new Expanded Edition album coming out on 9/19/19. It will also be available for free on my site when the album gets released so people don't have to buy anything to listen.
Probably been discussed before... but thoughts on a vinyl pressing? Bet it would sound great!
Quoted from Whysnow:Zero credibility and a complete Dbag if he would spoil it anyway. WTF would anyone want to do that to spooky and Scott? Let them announce when they are ready and enjoy that experience.
Says the guy with TONS of credibility.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:HAHA! Awesome. Yeah, so I guess Charlie spilled the beans a bit on a TNA rerun. I wouldn't really call this TNA 2.0, but I would call it a TNA Remake. The stuff I can share about it is pretty limited, but the game will essentially be the same. There will be a bunch of bolt on mods already done from the factory like the upgraded shoot again display, RGB lit drops, and it will have the latest backbox style of spooky cabinet. All the art, geometry, and software, will be the exact same and anything that is on the remade version can be bolted or installed on the original version (with the exception of the new backbox style). Well, I guess you could install a new backbox on your original if you were crazy enough. I probably shared too much..... Sorry Charlie. <3 There is absolutely no timeline on when this is going to happen though.
--Scott
So excited! Selling TNA ranks #1 in my pinball regrets. I’d be on the NiB list.
If you ever did a true 2.0 version (instead of remake) I think it would be cool as an evil version told from the side of the TNA baddies. Maybe the only code difference is you’re trying to bring all 9 reactors online. I picture a blacked out cabinet with the girl replaced on the back glass with that evil general dude.
Kinda like the Star Wars games where you play as the Empire haha.
