Quoted from JeffF:

Haven't followed the thread in a while so sorry if this is common knowledge... are there any estimates on when you'd get your game if you ordered one today? Just curious, thanks.

Depends on who you buy through. I got in a month ago with PinballSTAR at 236 with an earlier spot he had in his allotment. Shop around and you could get it faster. I was told spring lead time which now I am thinking April/May as opposed to March/April.

Quoted from Rascal_H:

Did you get any add ons? Shaker, plastic protectors, etc?

Relax. Your game isn't gonna come any sooner because you paid an extra thirty dollars. Namaste

What are the chances of getting LIONMAN! I mean does that just win. I don’t know.

LIONMAN!!!!!!!!

Quoted from bitpatrol:

Has anyone gotten that shooter rod mod? I'm wondering if that is a good mod to get, it's not cheap

I'm not. Just don't think it adds anything. I'm also the type of guy who isn't a fan of button launchers outside of a few well done guns. Grey rods are tried and true.

Quoted from JamesMxP:

Any must have options? Are the plastic protectors a good idea?

Shaker motor. Mirror Blades depending on your tastes.

Quoted from pinden007:

How often can you guys get action on the upper flipper when you get the ball into the upper play field? I played about 15 games on location and it seemed that less than 50% of the time could I get the ball over to the flipper and sometimes it would miss the scoop entirely when falling thru.
I also had a lot of rebounds from the reactor jackpot targets sdtm.
Other than those 2 things, the game was addicting.

Pinball is hard

Quoted from tonycip:

tempted to get one while I wait for potc to comes out..

Oh my sweet summer child

Quoted from LTG:

That wouldn't stop the ball from sailing in and going under the rubber ring.
LTG : )

Not according to Scott

Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:

Backing the sling power down to 6 helps this completely.

It's missing the secret skillshot

Quoted from tomdotcom:

That feeling when you move the hands free skill shot to another position and it lands in the hole you picked originally
Also I play at volume 3 usually....

3 shakes my house. 2 is normally what mine is set at unless nobody else is home. Then I crank it

Quoted from gottafixit:

Previously loved the Hackers references, recently saw the Goonies references. Thanks small tidbits Scott.

I'm a little bit sad that I don't get to see most of them anymore. We need a new update.

Quoted from manadams:

Looks like it has some of the star post damage. Is this pretty common with a lot of them? Don't want to freak out if most of them are having this issue.

I haven't seen any on mine. I don't have a lot of plays like some guys do. I also have a lower than half number game that came from a distributer

Quoted from VolunteerPin:

Speaking of skill shots, I have an absolutely terrible time ever getting my plunge to go through the top lanes. Either too soft or too hard. Any suggestions?

Practice or stick to the secret skillshot

I wish I still had a cassette deck. I'm stuck with streaming or playing the pirated version on my phone when I get no service. I feel entitled because I bought NIB.

#5662 4 years ago

Only on private trackers. I don't give away the good stuff

I'm in the camp of if you can play with it experiment with it. Go wild child. Just make sure to take notes so you can fix any screwups.

Quoted from kerpess:

Last thing. Have yet to decide on options. I know I'm not going for the butter but tempted for shaker and knocker. Leaning towards mirror blades in future but side art for $50 pretty nice price. Definitely getting the pre-installed plastic protectors.

I went with shaker, knocker, plastic protectors and mirrors. The mirrors really pop with the light show.

Quoted from Nevus:

I’m having a TNA side tournament this weekend. The prize is kind of an inside joke, but I’ll explain.
It’s called “The China Syndrome”
Teams of two pay 3.6 dollars per entry.
Each team plays a two player co-op game.
The team with the most reactors destroyed wins.
No playoffs.
Entries are not limited. You can play with different team mates to get the best score.
The plan is to let people pair up and have a fun distraction while the main tournament is running.
The winning team gets two of these mugs.[quoted image]

Joined the club today... simple question
I set mine up ... playing great.
Incline is at 7.4 (not sure I totally trust the digital level)
Anyway what is recommended between 6-7 like everything else ? What is everyone else playing on ?
[quoted image]

6.5

Quoted from d0n:

We at Oasis Arcade Airbnb (near Atlanta) just bought a TNA and love it! Paid $5900. It came with some mods installed and some not yet installed... like the clear drop targets.
Is there a good video tutorial on exactly what to do and when to do it during gameplay? I love the PAPA Bowen tutorials.
