Screw this!
I remember when tamper torx first appeared on automotive locks and such back in the 80s, it was like WTF? Easy solution before I bought the correct tool was to hit the center pin with a flat punch and flatten it out and then a regular tore bit could be used. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.
Wouldn't do that on a screw mounted to plastic though.
I keep my security bits in another room, but it also comes off just fine with a fathead micro screwdriver.
Just installed the new bulb for the topper light. At first it caused game to reboot. Then I reseated it and it seemed to work fine. I think maybe I didn’t have it all the way in the first time or soemthing.

FYI, there is a typo on your instruction card. Destroy is spelled destory.
People actually read those? jk jk

Not usually, but once I see a typo, I can't unsee it.

Once you understand destory you are on your way to mastering the machine.

Pardon, by chance to you mean "mastring" the machine ?
LTG : )

I think I want to see pictures before I do it.

I think you're a mad scientist, and I like it!
Hey, guys!
The upper flipper on my TNA stopped working I lifted the playfield expecting a wire to be broken off, which I wasn't wrong, but there are two wires broken off I'd like to get them wired back up properly since I'm unsure of where each wire goes?
Anyone be willing to share a picture?
Thanks!
Maybe it’s just me but this game feels so extremely intense, i‘m always a bit shaky after a few good games! i‘m also very bad, just managed to start reactor 4 for the first time (after owning it for 5 months....)
2,3 million points, i‘m a nervous wreck and need some sleep now
Quoted from Ben1981:Maybe it’s just me but this game feels so extremely intense
No, it's not just you.
I was sitting on the couch half crocked watching Nimble play my TNA last night with the volume cranked up and I could feel the intensity from there. The whole room was throbbing.
Quoted from KingPinGames:not sure if the picture will help,
but here is what i have
with the playfield up in the air with the lugs facing you
top (right) = blue
middle = blue/purple
bottom (left) = blue/green
[quoted image]
So I have:
Top (right) = Blue
Middle = broke off
Bottom (left) = Blue/green
I got a picture from another TNA owner of the lugs close up showing
Top (Right) = a blue wire and a purple wire
Middle = Blue/red wire
Bottom (Left) = Blue/Green Wire
Does that correct to you?

I have a Blue/red and solid colour wire broken off. Nothing blue purple that I can see, unless I'm, just colourblind cause I just don't see it.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Solid blue with the other solid blue (the daisy chain from on coil to the next). Blue/red to middle. Mine could be different as I have an engineering sample game.
If you're getting the speaker light kit, I recommend diffuser from Herg at LEDOCD. It really smooths out the lights.
Quoted from gliebig:Delivery scheduled for this Friday.
Too bad that even after you own it....I’ll still kick your butt when we play!

Just curious about a couple of points for everyone who has taken delivery on your game so far...
#1 - my pinballs were delivered in the same bag as some nuts and bolts. I found this odd (to say the least) and e-mailed KT about it as a point of feedback.

#2 - Did you get a coin box? I did not. Understanding I'm a home collector, I was asked if my game was to be routed and I responded with a "no" but I didn't realize that meant that I wouldn't be receiving a coin box. KT was very prompt and e-mailed me back and said that they are an extra $20. Was curious what everyone else experienced there.

The balls they included are garbage. I threw them away and put in good balls

They are round and shiny. Also, round.

I am not sure how the balls came but I believe I examined them and either put them in the game if they looked good or just used some that I already had. I did not get a coin box as well and thought it was odd but makes sense to not include them to save money on their end. Was not a big deal for me for no coins would ever go in mine but I do like having a coin box to keep rubbers, balls, extra nuts and bolts, etc. for that particular game in the coin box.

I'm pretty sure I didn't use the balls that came with mine either. I had some super shiny ninja balls that I put in, with a new powerball. I put new balls with all games I bring into the house. Probably not necessary, but I have them, so why not?
Quoted from Grizlyrig:Please explain your findings with the pinballs.

They were dull and oxidized. Looked like low quality or used balls. It's not a big deal they roll. I just want nicer balls so I threw them out. Not like I got the game and was like I demand a refund over these balls lol

110% agree with you on the coin box - it's a utility function for the home collector. I'll pick up a spare somewhere and clean it up and use it in TNA - it just surprised me when I opened the coin door and there was...nothing.
The pinballs - I chucked them into my 'spares' bag and installed some new and went on with it.... that whole situation just caught me off guard as well...didn't expect that.
