I have a friend that is a world famous artist and also does sculptures. I am thinking of working with him to start from scratch with an early ss or em pinball, and redoing the entire machine total custom. Thinking about doing the backglass, cabinet, playfield and plastics. I am not certain there would be a market for something like this or if anything like this has been done. By trade, he does wildlife sculptures. I am thinking a EM could be made into anything as the sound is generic so the sky would be limit. They would end up being a fairly high priced machine, but total custom and in the end an original piece of art work. I am looking for feed back if anything like this has been done. We are picturing a safari style or dangerous north american animal hunter theme machine. The owners likeness could be a feature on the backglass and/or playfield. Anyone think there could be a market for something like this?
