Quoted from jwilson:

This is Old School Pinball 101. You should play some EMs and early SS machines to get a feel for how that stuff works. Understanding the past will help you enjoy pinball more, and especially TNA.

I have trouble understanding some of the new pins with complex code as I'm from the ss era.
I find it interesting that people are having trouble with this

We might need a cliffy for that mystery scoop.

I ordered the shaker and knocker kits for my game.

I hope spooky gave you a discount on your game

Quoted from bob_e:

how many will they build ?
is there a production limit like on Areosmith?

No limit, as it dies down a final call will will be posted

Quoted from Nelly:

Was doing some cleaning in my basement and found this. Anyone know what game it is for?

I would turn that into a white wood version

My coffee is getting cold waiting...

Quoted from DCFAN:

I assume the shirts on the pinballlife site that are fluorescent colors do not fluoresce in a black light environment.

I'm going to a meet next weekend that will be using black lights so I'll let you know.

I'm sure the writing on the back, being white, will stand out...

Mantis style cliffy preinstalled from what I know.

I hope your reading this and taking notes Stern

#4080 6 years ago
Quoted from Rascal_H:

Thought this bit of documentation was humorous. Are people still doing this? They better not!

Anyone caught still doing this should be "annihilated"

Quoted from NeilMcRae:

I can personally vouch for this and knowing Charlie's impeccable anti-corruptible qualities. I tried shipping three crates of chocolate to KT and I'm still in the same place in the queue
Cheers,
Neil.

Go around Charlie and head Straight to the boss, well good attempt

I like that! Good use of the "useless" ones digit.

There's a recent stream somewhere where the new code is trialled and you can see it in action.

Quoted from Pinballlew:

Great opportunity to use the lcd in attract mode to coach new players on location IMO. Explaining the basic rules.

Well TNA doesn't need it.
The rules are simple and the apron card is perfect and easy to understand

Quoted from Aurich:

TNA is fast as shit, when the ball is out of control it's pretty insane.

I'm thinking of lifting the FRONT legs up

#4899 6 years ago
Quoted from Cobra:

What angle are you guys setting this at?

Nothing up at the back
All leg levellers all the way in.

#4922 6 years ago
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:

I don't develop virtually. I basically SSH into my physical game and run the code watching the log. I take the glass off to test things and play full games on it. It is not very glamorous... And no, SSH is not available on the production games. I have a modified OS on my production game.

Ive been playing it a lot with the glass off.
Still can't break the habbit of grabbing the ball when it drains though

#4926 6 years ago
Quoted from Pinballlew:

Are you quick enough to react to grab it?

50/50.
My partner commented that its a natural reaction for pinheads. She was doing it too

#4964 6 years ago

Has anyone checked the music in the test menu.

How can someone be in for awhile, but they are backing out when pins are shipping, because of the wait time? Wierd.

Andrew? You’re back?

That name came straight to me too

Quoted from luckycreature:

I just paid my deposit. How do I find out what number I am? Couldn't tell from the invoice.

They are usually printed on the invoice.

Quoted from NeilMcRae:

Euro/OZ guys in 220V land - did you have to do anything to the machine for 220v?
Cheers
Neil.

Aussie ones were labeled with 230v and we double checked the switch on the back of the power supply to make sure.

#5617 6 years ago
Quoted from cooked71:

Puts the pressure on doesn't it. Just need to screen it out.

I couldn't imagine destroying the reactor without that rumble once you've used it.

#5682 6 years ago
Quoted from audihere:

No, ball is on normal area of pf and suddenly I see Ball Saved and another ball comes into play. Check the connectors on the trough opto board and they were all secure. Any other ideas?

Sounds like either one of the outlane switches is too touchy or one of the scoop switches is touchy.

#5702 6 years ago

I'm only 5'5" and I don't have a problem in the world about it

#5719 6 years ago
Quoted from Aurich:

I wonder if Pinball Life will carry the speaker lights? I'd like to order the shaker at some point, be handy to get them shipped together.

No shaker in your game.
You need to get on top of that one.
I couldn't imagine playing it without one.

Quoted from billycrna:

I love the song that plays once all of your balls have been lost and the game is over. So, I bought the soundtrack to the game. However, I can not find this song. Am I missing it?

You can listen to all the songs by going into the menu and pulling them up.

Quoted from o-din:

If anybody still waiting has any doubts about the quality of what they will be getting, each time I look at and play this game, I see a machine that has been built by a team with a passion for pinball, and a desire for quality that goes way above what has become the industry standard today. In fact a quality that measures up to pinball standards of all time.
From a cabinet built like a brick shithouse, to a playfield made of the hardest, highest quality wood and a clearcoat to match, to wiring connectors that don't just randomly fall off in transit as is what is claimed when others do. I see this game as solid as a rock.

And there's a tank on the back glass

They may be over the original plastics not under. I don't know....but they will "protect" your plastics so youre all good.

They sit under, here's a pic of the slingshot side on...

You've taken the 80's look of the pin away.

Quoted from aobrien5:

It's not making it up into the shooter lane. Bumping the power up to 31 seemed to help some. I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Of course when it fails to get all the way out, the balls get stacked a bit, but a couple more pops clears it up.

You can also open the coin door and look at the mech with a torch while it's firing.
You might be able to pick up on something that way.

#7111 5 years ago
Quoted from aobrien5:

Alright, so what do you think? 3rd attempt fails.

There is also a lip on the metal it may be having trouble getting over it.
When the ball moves to the horizontal.
I'll take a pic of what I mean when I get home.
