I'm saving a space for TNA between Future Spa and Stars Scott.
A perfect ass-kicking retrofuture sandwich if I do say so myself!
Keep up the good work!

Quoted from PACMAN:I don't understand why everyone has a hard on for this game. Its SO BASIC. Is it because its a few bucks cheaper than other new games?
I really admire your arcade restoration capabilities Pac but, as a pinhead, you seem to be pretty oblivious as to what makes this game so special.
First off,
TNA is FAR from basic.
It's layout is VERY deliberate.
Even in the whitewood form, it doesn't let up for a second. Pure speed and well placed angles/targets keep you sweating bullets the entire time.
(Clear coating this brutal layout is going to be even more insane.)
Sure you may control a ball or two and make a few great shots to get a bit further in the game but, most of the time you are already on your heels trying to defend what's coming back at you.
THAT's a brief glimpse into why people are getting so "hard" for this particular pin...
Plus,
Each reactor is different so it should still feel fresh in the home environment if you/we can even make it to the final one.
I only managed to get through two of them at TPF 17' and felt very satisfied in doing even that.
80's artwork Pinside-Judge-Judying aside, the addictive-yet-brutal classic gameplay, driving beats and over the top RGB light show, should be enough zazz to get the modern DMD/LCD crowd to open their 3D printed backlit wallets and hand Spooky/Scott their Stern/JJP pre-pre-order $$$.
I personally can't wait for mine to arrive after seeing the final reveal.
It's like my old Rachel McLish Bally Hardbody had late night hookup Foxfire parking lot sex with Gos from Drive while Justice was playing in the background.
Gos of course was too drunk to pull out and *thankfully* TNA was born 8 months* later...
*-1 month for not going with a pure classic Bally cab, and or, early System 9-11 cab.
Quoted from rai:I mean it's not detailed.
If TNA had let's say...TF art plastered all over it. Would you be able to see the ball properly as it is now rocketing 99.9% faster around the center PF than TF ever could?
No, probably not.
Even the fade to orange/yellow is keenly placed to help aid in tracking the shiny chaos.
Quoted from bangerjay:I drew the island, no regerts
But, it's not in the shape of a penis...
Quoted from PACMAN:Whatever you guys, i'm outta here.
Bye Felicia!
Edit: I was going to put in a joke about the Orbitor-1 PF either being a pic of Aurich's lungs or PAC's last colonoscopy pic...
But that would be "bad form Peter."
Quoted from Gryszzz:No. Can see em. Just can't say anything.
Love the new avatar O-Din!
Quoted from Aurich:It's all in fun man, no one is being bullied.
Where is your car parked again Aurich?
Quoted from pbu:I think one thing that most people aren't picking up on with TNA is how fun this game is to multi-player.
Classic Solid State and EM's are always better as multiplayers. Short ball times, sudden drains and "friendly" trash talk go hand in hand.
TNA does this to a T...N....A.
Another high point in the feed was at the very end when Charlie was talking about the new PF's and how rigorously they test them.
Guess I can finally hand TNA down to my Great GREAT Grandchildren now!
Thanks Jack for the feed and Scott/Spooky for the added dedication to lovingly mass produce (as much as they can anyway...) my favorite era of pinball, with shiny 2017 trimmings!
This will most likely be the sweetest NIB machine I'll ever open.
Quoted from trilogybeer:I want a pink one for Total Nuclear Annihilation.
Translucent hot magenta.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:Super limited supply!
C'mon Scott, just go for the gusto and make some translucent neon flavors for the TNA loyalists!
Trilogy and I are in for the magenta spool I posted from page 58, but I'd be happy with a neon blue, purple, or orange if more people wanted those instead.
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:By popular demand
"Marginal" demand, maybe...
Thanks for listening Scott!
Making folk's Sac holding dreams come true one color at a time!
How about some radioactive (GITD) sets next?
Quoted from o-din:I'm not used to playing games with such long ball times, but it is fun enough and deep enough, that that's not a real issue.
Spicoli Translation:
Compared to 15-30 seconds per ball on his EMs, TNA is maybe 60 seconds a ball.
Definitely feels like an eternity for ol’ O-Din.
Quoted from foobeer:For those keeping score at home...#109 sans butter here but still no word.
Don’t worry foo!
Once the day arrives and you get to play your first game on your very OWN TNA, the patience and $$$ will have all been worth it.
Just yesterday I pulled an all day-er at Banning working on machines for AE 4.0, and even though I was pretty tired from that and the traffic coming home, I still managed to play an hour straight of TNA with the family before everyone headed off to bed.
(Which of course is like 45-50 games. )
My two year old can’t get enough of “Tota-l Newclear Anihilmashun!”
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Holy hell is pinball hard.
That’s funny, my lockdown bar receiver says the same thing!
Small world...

Keep up the good work Charlie!
My wife and I are looking forward to playing the next phase of Spooky at TPF.
Do they make a caffeinated Spotted Cow to help with the drive over?
Quoted from 27dnast:I'd like to see a mode that allows players 1&3 battle players 2&4!!! That would make for some fun!
Might as well add the “3 vs Bowen” mode while Scott’s got the hood open.
Quoted from Aurich:waiting sucks, but it is what it is.
Man, TNA was the easiest wait I’ve ever had on a NIB machine.
You guys want to really wait?
Take a time machine back to early 2011, put even more money down and wait patiently (while still making payments!) for your WOZ to show up!
Pinheads these days!
And it didn’t bother me one bit...
Now Hobbit on the other hand with it’s blantant “new-customer-line-jumping-promo-parties”, was a completely different story.
That $#!t was a slap in the face to the early pre-orderers.
I too would’ve been happy with receiving a whitewood machine. It was ALWAYS about the gameplay/music with TNA.
Getting all the retro-futuristic decor and polish was just an added bonus.
Even after playing the whitewood again one year later at TPF 18’, it still kicks ass in it’s raw state!
Quoted from o-din:I had a vision yesterday of mine showing up next week with about the same size hole and nearly in the same location.
I thought you paid for the “NP Plaid Glove” delivery service?
No EXTRA holes from terminal, guaranteed!
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:that if 501 sold, we should do something cool for it.
Ooh, you could deck the game’s armor out in Levi’s finest vintage denim and have Bruce Willis deliver it as well as dance around you as you unbox it!
