It will be at SFGE next week so if you're in the Atlanta area, come on by!

Seriously, if you like the game and hate the translite, make your own! The game is incredible and will be even more incredible when the graphics are updated and the art is on it (and it's in a standard cabinet). But what a game! It was probably mentioned but it won multiple categories at the SFGE. It even had "Best EM" votes! Scott and Charley Rock!
Quoted from estrader:Just wondering about the jump from 165 to 230.
Me too considering that I’m 209!
I talked to K.T. at SFGE and 209 will be in July. Because I’m driving to pick it up, and schedules and stuff, probably later in the month.
Quoted from FatPanda:Road trip from Georgia just to pick it up or are you coming to the Midwest for other reasons? Either way, sounds like you'll be heading home with an awesome machine!
Paul Kiefert and I did a series of DVDs on Pinball and video game topics called “Pins and Vids”. We had one more disc planned because I had an exclusive interview with Python Anghelo in 2012 but we never released it. I’m planning to interview Charley as a feature article and hopefully get it released this year.
The machine will be a bonus for sure!
This sure generated a lot of downvotes. I played Maiden at SFGE and despite liking the music, I thought it was easy and I’d loose interest so I was down on it. Then, last weekend, I was with some friends and an acquaintance of ours who plays the game daily, showed us what it takes to play it and Wow, it is amazing. The rule set is incredible.
Back to TNA - I pick up 209 at Spooky at the end of the month! Yeah!
Quoted from Chicoman:TNA is everything I was hoping Iron Maiden would be. Maiden is complete garbage thrown together with a license slapped on it and TNA is a work of GENIUS!
I ordered the speaker lights but it wasn’t on the invoice so it didn’t go in. I got the kit while I was there and I also got the diffusion kit shipped. I had to take the LEDs off of the mounting brackets that Spooky provides and move them to the diffusion brackets but I put some electrical tape around the brackets to keep the LEDs in the channel. The tape is not visible from the front so you can’t see it. Then I put plastic slit tubing over the wires and grouped them logically. A lot less cluttered looking in the backbox.
I restore pins as a hobby so something inside me prevents me from doing things sloppy.
Quoted from lpeters82:This probably wouldn't work, but I think it would be cool if a game like TNA could function as an jukebox in attract mode. Allow the owner to hook up a mini usb loaded with .mp3s, then have the machine play random songs or allow the player to pick songs via the flippers.
You need a P2K machine with NuCore or PinBox installed. I have my RFM playing TNA music stored on my server. I sent the video of it to Scott and he got a laugh.
As for Mods - You can also order the Speaker Lights and have them installed directly from Spooky. I think the lights are as important as the shaker. Contact KT as soon as possible.
Note: I added the diffusers that someone else sells. Easy to do.
It was easy to take the LED light strips out of the black mounts Spooky provided and put them in the channel of the diffusers. Then run the wire out the slot and mount the diffusers. I also added black tubing to manage the wires better.

Quoted from xeneize:Did you guys have to remove the black rings that came inside the cutouts?
I had the waterproof LEDs which were really thick and had to dremel the wall of the diffuser to reduce material to get everything back together and the fit is still bad.
herg has asked me to try to remove the black 3D printed rings and I am going to try that this weekend. Glad to know I am not the only one that struggled with this. It seems like the design/assembly at the factory has changed slightly, and with tolerances so small, it can be problematic.
