Quoted from sandersj:

That was me, didn't even finish one ball and I was in "gonna buy this machine" mode. Went right back to my office and emailed Spooky.

We kinda consider this the highest compliment we can get!

Thanks a ton for the faith.

Love seeing pictures of TNA on location! Cannot wait to post some of our own, one happy day in 2018

It's right next to Sushi Station as well. Pinball and conveyor sushi in one trip? Oh my.

#4205 6 years ago

Crap. In anticipation of future delivery, I started the process of advertising one of my games, hoping for good timing of the slot opening up.

- Some prick came by today with cash and paid me full price.

TNA #132.
I guess I'll put a fake plant in that spot.

Damn, makes me wish I still lived in Des Plaines! Used to stop by Sushi Station all the time.

#4207 6 years ago

Hey, it's a short drive. I bet we can organize a short trip back. I'm in.

Those bastards who offer full price and pay in cash...what's become of pinball?

#4209 6 years ago

I have not been following this topic lately, but still contemplating getting me some nice TnA .

Is there already a distributor/transporting option for Europe? It would save me the hassle of making all those arrangements on my own (feels like reinventing the wheel, so to speak).

#4210 6 years ago

Does TNA take a standard Williams coinbox? My game will Be Home use but like to run my games on tokens. Kind of like a popularity meter.

TheNoTrashCougar

Hey Scott - looking forward to seeing if I can get non-pinhead friends to jump in on money games once I get the machine. Curious: have you considered making a two team mode where the scores for players 1&3 are added together (same for players 2&4)... perhaps on an end screen... which would make for fast and easy team games?

I’m trying to think of ways of getting my buddies psyched about playing, paying attention, and not being shy about head to head type games.

#4212 6 years ago

I’d still like to see a co-op mode where a team builds up reactors and another tries to destroy them
More a gremlin type thing not cooperative

#4213 6 years ago

Love all the ideas for team play! This game is so amazing it deserves the ability to do fun stuff like that.

45
#4214 6 years ago

That is a very cool idea! I definitely am still working on fixing little bugs and other enhancements and then I will start looking at more fun stuff. I am going to release a good sized update at the beginning part of the 2018 with some cool stuff in it. Also, there will be remastered music that I wrote for the album that will make it's way back into the game! I am excited about that.

Neat idea! Like choosing Team Empire or Team Rebellion.

TNA #41 is on location at the uptown arcade in Chicago. People love it and I do too. So much so that I bought another one that will be on route in central Illinois. Great job on this Scott I love supporting you, pinball life and spooky. I can’t wait to see what you bring us next!!

None has been announced, as far as I know. We ordered direct from Spooky, which isn't much of a hassle for us in Norway, since there is a very user-friendly LCL ("Less than a Container Load") shipping agent operating from USA to Norway, so Spooky just sends the game to an address in New Jersey. Maybe something similar exists in your country?

Does TNA take a regular sized sheet of glass? I have the chance to purchase an extra sheet of PDI glass and thought it best to check first.

Had the chance to play this awesome game at Pinball Universe in Germany and I LOVE IT!!!

found a small bug but don't know if they have been mentioned here already and which software version the game was running at:

Ball gets sometimes stuck on the small gap behind the "Ball 1" drop target. and since it's not releasing nor dropping the "Ball 2" target when you tilt the machine you can't continue your game.

Apart from that I got addicted to it immediately.

That ball hangup is easily fixed by adjusting the drop target height. I will look into seeing if there is something I can do in the software to make sure that the game can recover safely from this. It is nuts the amount of small things that happen on location that can throw off the software.

My brother-in-law and I went to TILT Bar today for lunch. Dumped ~$20 in quarters into their machines...TNA took probably $18 of that ...and that's not the first time that has happened! I absolutely love this game!

#4235 6 years ago

How can we get some games to the North East ASAP??? You are missing out on orders because no one can play it out here! Let’s move Rascal up in production, he promised to throw an official TNA North East launch party when he gets his game! He has memory loss so he might have forgotten that he signed up to.

Anyone up there putting one on route?

#225 engraved in my brain. I can’t wait for some 4 player games! If I had a location to put it in near my work I would put it in route.

#4238 6 years ago

Portal_Pinball has one on location near Atlanta, GA.

#4239 6 years ago

There is nothing overly close to Pittsburgh. If I could play one first I might order. It’s one of two that I’m considering.

#4240 6 years ago

Are any of these available to play in New York City?

One coming to The Sanctum very soon. Big unboxing party when it arrives. Likely end of the month. All of New England will finally get a taste!

I will be getting mine in January and live on Long Island. 40 minute train ride away. Anyone is welcome to come and play.

PM me if you decide to order it, maybe we can work something out with transport together.

Portal Pinball streamed TNA for four hours today. Live on location from Kennesaw Georgia!

Scott: awesome game; one suggesion

When the final reactor is destroyed, instead of the game just ending, add a 5 ball wizard mode and then end the game. Have the siren going non stop, add some random callouts like "my hero", "you saved the world!", crank the light show into full tri color intense pulsating mode and have scoring multiplied by number of balls in play x two. When all balls drain the game is over. For an even cooler effect, incrementally bump up the power of the slings and pop bumper, or have the power randomly adjust every few seconds.

Why is there not a "hide text" option on pinside?

You make it sound like beating the 9th reactor does nothing and the game turns off. Did you beat the 9th reactor?

I thought you were supposed to be ending the world

#4249 6 years ago
Quoted from Chalkey:

I thought you were supposed to be ending the world

The high level story is you are traveling to the future to destroy it before they discover reverse time travel. You need to kill everything and that includes yourself unfortunately. Even if you did survive, there is no way for you to get back (no reverse time travel).

Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:

Configurable... The end could be after the Nth reactor with N <= 9... According to the documentation the game ends.
