A must!!!

#3802 6 years ago

That would just be....BUTTER!

Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

There will also be a delivery/setup option. Pay the designer and manufacturer $5 each and they will not only deliver your game, but they will also set it up for you.

Ohhhh, and BUTTER'ER

Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

Charlie and Scott are working on something a little special. Integrated lights will be included.

Don't worry old man, it's a walk out. You don't have to do stairs.

#3806 6 years ago

Looks like I'll be adding on those speaker panels to my order once they are available. This game just keeps getting more beautiful.

#3807 6 years ago

I will be loading #14 in my car in about 14 hours.

They will if you're as genuinely nice (don't let the cranky old guy routine fool you) as Bryan and his wife Deb... Let's just say that new game production is insanely intense, and Scott & I both had a rough week getting things up to par. There are ALWAYS surprises in early production no matter how well prepared you think you are.

So to take 3 games to 3 really good friends, spend a good 24 hours just remembering WHY we wanted to do all this in the first place, and wish a good friend a happy 40th birthday while visiting an insanely cool place (aka Tilt Pinball Bar)... much needed, and actually a bit of de-stress relief.

Some of our absolute best friends on this planet are pinball people. Just getting to hang out with them and actually play a few games... what it's all about right there.

To all our MN friends... thanks for once again making us feel at home.

That was just a set of stainless speaker covers we proto'd this week... wait till you see the rest of it!

And the pop bumper washer adjustment mentioned previously has already been done. If you gap the switch close it really isn't an issue but the washer trick just makes that less critical for a snappy hit.

We really do care! I think those beautiful full color glossy apron / instruction cards i always forget until the last minute even come in tomorrow.

He'd have to move a game or two to actually use the walk out , but I'm sure Bryanman could handle that .

I received my game on Saturday. It was reserved early for Free Play Florida Nov 17-19 in Orlando, FL. I have been streaming it daily. Come on by and say hi. http://twitch.tv/owlnonymous . I also put up an unboxing video on YouTube.

What are the preorder numbers at now? I'm strongly thinking this'll be my first NIB game, but won't be able to financially pull it off till next spring. It's kinda nerve wracking, hoping I can time it to later in the run, yet not miss out completely. How / when will Spooky announce "last call"?

I’m sure if you read this thread you will know when the last call is announced.

#3815 6 years ago

get on the list! its that simple!

Neil.

It sounds like games are rolling out at a pretty quick rate - and getting white glove delivery to boot Any expectation on how many will be shipped by end of year?

I know it's kinda a love-fest in this thread, but what a great story and awesome game. Congrats to all involved.

I would think that spooky would at least want to take production games to texas pinball festival , and midwest gaming classic to show before last call . Both those shows are in spring . I am just guessing on this but I think if you are considering ordering one in spring you shouldn't really worry about missing out . I also think when they do the last call it will be posted here by someone . You could always email Kayte , [email protected] and she will be able to answer any questions you may have .

After years of collecting and owning dozens of titles, TNA will be our first NIB... which is the highest compliment you can pay a designer and manufacturer in this biz!

Made good on this statement.. Deposit DOWN and we're (#214) in the TNA club!

So. Much. Fun.

I had one lingering criticism from the last time I played. One aspect that I’m gonna hold private, because I think it just melted away tonight.

See y’all next week!

At Pinball Life's open house and Pinball Expo I took some pics of Scott's wife who dressed up as the female character on the backglass. Here's a quick preview with a backdrop borrowed from some website. Would be nice to turn these into a flyer for the game

Is she dressed like the character or is the character actually based on her?

The character is based on her.

Both. The character is based on her, and she picked an outfit that was similar to what is seen on the backglass.

#3828 6 years ago

Scott picking his wife for the character is one of the most endearing parts of the machine for me. I think that's cool as hell.

Got some TNA game play (Total Nuclear Annihilation). This vid is 14 min long, hang in there for the overhead shots, Scott has put in some excellent lighting effects that blew me away when I watched this footage.

Subscribe to be notified when we release new videos. We've got more TNA footage ready to edit and some cool ideas for new content.

For those unfamiliar with our YT channel, here's a link to the thread here on Pinside.

see the 7:07 mark on that video has two balls locked, appears to hit the drop target which lowers the middle drop target but not the front drop target.

#3834 6 years ago
Quoted from rai:

I think he managed to newton ball hit the ball in the lock... without dropping the front drop target. The multiball start is probably key'd to having the front drop target switch triggered.

Maybe a special corner case for Scott... since the second drop is triggered, leading to the balls stacking improperly.

Quoted from rai:

That is purposely dealt with in the code. The lock mech knows the ball is there, but it does not actually award a multiball unless you can free the balls. It is working correctly.

#3836 6 years ago

Scott, did you see that video from AYCE Gogi where the 2 balls were locked, and the player dropped the first drop target (thus releasing the ball) and had two balls in play, but the game only recognized one ball (so if one of the balls drained, the game considered it a full drain, even though there was a second ball in play). I can't recall at when time mark it happens, but it's there.

EDIT: Found it.

#3837 6 years ago

It also carries through to the next player.

I did, that is a maladjusted drop target 1 down switch that caused that. I am going to be updating the software to compensate for that, but that switch needs to be adjusted.

Indeed. I am glad these little things are being brought up early so I can get them fixed. Bugs happen, especially in a pinball machine.

Yep, I'm hoping to get mine at the end of January, so it better be 100% bug-free by then!

TheNoTrashCougar Will pinball life be making the speaker grills that Bryan has on his as well? The reason I ask is that I want both the mirror blades and speaker grills and dont want to double pay on shipping.

thanks! #81 here

Very few bugs have happened in TNA though from what I can tell. Great job on making it solid and reliable.

#3845 6 years ago

The mirrors look great! Thanks for making this an option

#3846 6 years ago

My plan is to get to the ayci Gogi release party if able.

I just want to get some play time on this. Excited.

#3847 6 years ago

Sweetness! The mirrors are exactly what I was hoping for! Like the side art...LOVE the mirrors!

#3848 6 years ago

So these mirrors are in place of the inside side decals? They look great- I already ordered the inside art decals when I placed my order-
