Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Does susan coin mech work? I saw that sign on ebay and almost got it. Think you beat me to it.
This particular topper was not from Ebay, as it was a gift from a friend, who purchased a large volume of them from a warehouse. I built a proper reinforcement bracket and mounting system, since it is just cardboard. All parts (entry, bezel, bracket) and including the coin mech are factory new on the game, as it was sold HUO for private use in 1979. The only single owner was using his fingers to coin up the MPU-35 from the coin chute, center SBA switch.

Quoted from o-din:HEP restored MM with a custom topper.
No offense but looks like it cane from Burger King .
The only mods I ever like are the ones where you can imagine that the game builder would have put it on there if they had the time and money.
For example, obviously the game designer would have been more happy with a 3D piano in TZ than a crappy drawing on the playfield. It's a bonafide improvement.
But to stack a bunch of random crap in the game or on the backbox seems really doofy. Would the guy who did the art for TZ have made a topper that consists of a Rod Serling bobblehead? Or some TZ novelty
Same deal with the colored LED syndrome. If colored LEDs has been around in 1992, the people who made TZ would have put them to good use. Would they have loaded the GI light sockets with purple LEDs? NO. Because a monochromatic purple playfield is boring and not desirable from an artistic standpoint.
Hey look, guys, it's my NEW TZ TOPPER!!
