Did anyone see a post for toppers that were being made to sit on the back box of older games. Can't find it.

Toppers are a DMD deal. Don't want.
Quoted from AvidListener:Gottlieb EM Topper:
I've always liked those. I made my own file to print a few for myself but never got around to printing them.
Quoted from 82Trooper:so how does one go about ordering one?
The Pinball Resource. Steve Young used to sell these

Can you send me the file? I too would like to print one out
Quoted from PinballFever:Is there one similar for Williams and Bally EM games?
Ya I have one for my Williams Colors.
I like original or reproduction EM toppers. New original toppers for EMs would be a hard sell for me.
Quoted from TheLaw:Sounds dreadfull
I think mine looks great! I can wire it into the 6V AC and there are a couple of leds like an old school license plate had. I made about a dozen of these but never fully completed them. Lots of projects like that.

It looks really cool. I know it's to prevent beer bottles from falling onto the playfield glass but I think beer holders are better.

Bally offered a rare SBA dollar topper
The ones PBR sells are obviously repros, but much smaller than the original ones. They still looks great though.
Added over 6 years ago: I wish to retract the above statement which is incorrect.
Pinball Resource sells full-sized exact replicas of the original wedgehead topper. Steve showed them to me yesterday. They are sturdily constructed with the metal frame and mounting brackets. They look fabulous and he has plenty of them in stock.

Anybody have a scan of one of these SBA toppers?

Just saw a game for sale last night on CL here in Texas that has one of those toppers (not installed) that comes with it.
Quoted from dasvis:Had a buddy print a couple of these out on 3/16" foamboard. No metal frame & I still need to figure out mounting, but it looks pretty decent. Now I need the Bally SBA topper for the Embryon next to it.....
hey, that looks pretty good!
I mentioned in an earlier thread taking a slightly different approach by creating a hanging frame in the form & livery of a backbox & inserting the game flyer.

Just completed a frame for my Raceway but also included x2 Dinky cars (a Talbot Lago & HWM) from the same Dinky series of those in the animated backbox.

Cars are held by magnets so cars can be removed if my Grandsons want to play with them as often happens.

Hope to add one to my Bank a Ball soon.

Nice, is the file available?
This thread has spurred me into get crackin'. Just completed a couple of elevated 'flyer' toppers for my two woodrails.

Purchased lengths of rectangular & square pine moulding; glued together to form a framing profile; routed either side of the top face to broadly replicate the woodrail backbox; then cut to frame lengths & glued within a framing jig.

Stained the frame with maple stain; sprayed the inner black profile; & 3 coats of clear. Cut glass obtained from the recycling centre & fabricated a backing board; installed retaining clips, hook & chain.
