I bought a used ribbon-style Display that was "100% working". The display is actually really nice, it isn't faded anywhere and bright. The weird thing about the DMD is that the very top horizontal line of every graphic (scores, characters, text, etc.) displays somewhat of a "flickering". Tough to explain but it's as if it's phasing from dim and relights fast creating kind of a wavy, dizzying appearance across the row.

It's only the top line of any graphic doing this and if any of those lines become the center (or anywhere that's not the top) of any other graphic then it is lit solid and nice. Tried the same display on 3 different known working DMD games and all the same result.

Anyway, wondering if anyone knew what this would be or how to fix it? Thanks!

    Quoted from Crash:

The display is outgassing. Time to get a new one...

This was just a backup but wanted a nice one as a backup...

    Couldn't be a cap/resistor/chip problem at all?
