Hey all,

I won't speak to condition, but these games came up for sale locally. I've been rolling around the idea of getting an EM game. Either one of these worth looking into? One markedly better than the other game-play wise? I'm not looking to buy a game just to have one; I'd like to have a decent player. Thanks in advance.

I haven't played Top Card, but I found High Hand really really fun and addictive...until you get all the drops down. The table just kind of feels dead after that. I love the backglass- just wish the drops would reset like the AAB version.

That being said, if I came across a working High Hand for 200 bucks, it would be in my basement already.

Yes and yes. Those are great prices assuming average condition. They're both really great wedgeheads. We have the Top Card ourselves but would just as easily buy a High Hand. (If it means anything to you, the IPDB rates TC at 7.8 and HH at 7.6 with plenty of votes and comments to help you decide)

Top Card is a great game. Of course I am a little biased since I have one.

Top card is a fun game. At that price, I would buy it.

I have both. Both are projects......... Working on High hand now, Top card is in storage awaiting restoration. Gave $200 for Top card & $150 for High hand. Backglasses on both are ok, playfields worn. Top card looks virgin inside & High hand has been diddled with & has a few odd missing parts (already located & on the way!). ALL of the steppers & score reels are gummed up with old grease.
Played a really, really nice Top card @ the NW Pin show in June - it's a fun game!

Have never played High hand, but I am a big fan of drop targets...... this game has 16!
I ran a rough total on needed parts for HH this morning, I'm guessing about $300 more to get it working & presentable (not including my labor costs, of course).
