    Quoted from pinballsmith:

I too vote for Rush. I had a blast at their concert in Philly this past Friday. The Steampunk theme of their new album is perfect for an industrial themed pin.

Trouble is it wouldn't sell that good.

True Blood, good one! I think many premium channel shows translate well.

    #53 8 years ago

    My wish list:
    1. Fringe
    2. The Big Lebowski
    3. Harry Potter
    4. Matrix
    5. Hellraiser (OK - I might be the only one )

    ToyotaBoy,

Thanks for sharing the Jaws video, there are some sweet ideas in the footage, nice to see it executed with the theme in a virtual setting!

    Quoted from blondetall:

Now, if you're talking True Blood that's a whole different story. Blood and sex and abs... oh my!

I know my wife would personally like this as a theme. I would want to resist it though and would ultimately be torn since its a pinball machine were speaking of. Admittedly I do dig the intro music to the show.

    Quoted from Astropin:

    The Big Bang Theory

I <3 this idea. The 'BAZINGA' shot.
lock the ball by knocking on Penny's door three times.
    howard's pickup multiball
high powered laser mode (frenzy scoring)
    Broken elevator shot/scoop

    Would be my favorite

I would love to see an Aliens themed pinball though i think it would be hard to squeeze decent gameplay out of it. Legend of Zelda would make a pretty table but that would be better for a Zen table i think.
Pink Floyd would be sick and a must have but i feel i would not be the majority on that. If i were to pick a band themed table of that era i would say Led Zeppelin or Black Sabeth even better.
I would love to see an Escape from New York or a Muppet's as far as movie/tv show based themes go maybe even a Willie Wonka machine.
Personally i think someone should re-release popular tables already in existence like Twilight Zone and Addams Family if licensing wasn't an issue but directed towards home buyers and half scale as well, for around 2500 to 3000, (what your average used table goes for now) That....would be sick.

Quick question, there is already a very successful and popular Star Trek title in existence......why is Star Trek on some pinsider's wish lists?

    #66 8 years ago

Star Trek=new ideas for game play and a LCD.
Oh yeah, and Steve Ritchie has got the Con.

    1) Original Zombie or Zombieland
    2) Original Western or Dark Tower / Last Gunslinger
    3) Original Steam Punk
    4) Monty Python's Holly Grail
    5) The Matrix

    #68 8 years ago

    Holly Grail!! Awesome idea,
Matrix....yes (Bullet time!) are u kidding that would rock!
    Brave Heart? maybe? "FREEDOOOOOOOAAAAAAMMMM!!!"
Willie Wonky would move. Would be an easy theme to make a pinball machine from.
Have it spit out ever lasting gobstoppers for first place

    Quoted from JimB:

    1. Van Halen
    2. Pee Wee Herman
    3. Fringe
    4. NFL - Pick your team
    5. Snoop Dogg

Though I laughed at Snoop Dogg at first, then thought about it, and I'm starting to like it. You know it would be fun to mod. Also as my imagination took over, sticky-icky-icky mode, and the playfield fills up with smoke. I know that would never happen, but funny to think about nonetheless.

    #70 8 years ago

I am liking Wonka. Everlasting gobstopper multiball, similar to Elvis' encore mode, only with the time limit based on a level of success attained in some aspect of gameplay.

    #71 8 years ago

Scooby Doo?? Could be a winner.

I think this could be a real hit. You could do the change settings for some of the rough language on or off. Nothing ever done like this before AND he does Leno. Can you imagine him bringing this on Leno to show off? Would be a first for Pinball.

Steam Punk is a great idea. Needs to be done by someone other than Stern though given the unique artistic nature of the theme.

I love the idea of an actually-good video game themed pin. Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Portal, Half-Life? Halo, World of Warcraft? And yes I'd even love Pokemon. In fact I played the hell out of the Pokemon Pinball video games and I'd say they contributed hugely to my interest in real pinball. I know people will hate the idea here but I guarantee the thing would get played on location, and not just by kids -- the people who grew up playing Pokemon are in their 20s or above now and have tons of nostalgia for it. Can't tell you how many Pokemon tattoos I've seen. Not kidding.

From others' ideas, Pee-Wee Herman and Willy Wonka both sound great.

    #75 8 years ago

Might have to contact Paramount Pictures for the rights to Wonka

    #76 8 years ago

Ben Heck is making a Steam Punk game "Tesla vs Edison " don't know if he has any plans to do a production run of this game But he is making one so the people that said they want a steam punk game and the people that said they want a Tesla game There is a small chance it could happen .
