1: "He say you Brade Runnah!"
    2: Forbidden Planet
    3: Fifth Element
    4: Logan's Run
    5: The Last Starfighter

    #102 7 years ago

I'm thinking "Revenge of the nerds" and pinball go together!

What about Deliverance....Whitewater could have been so much more!

    #103 7 years ago

    1. JAWS, without any doubt this is the most wanted by me. Still is.

    2. The Gremlins. With some imagination this can be a nice pin.

    3. Titanic. Can be a turd or fantastic.

    4. The Godfather. Classic.

    5. James Bond, all movies with music and etc in 1 pin.

    #104 7 years ago

Monsters from the Id! I agree with Forbidden Planet.

    #105 7 years ago

    yeah!

Sieriously... this should have been a pin years ago..

    2: Forbidden Planet
    3: Fifth Element
    4: Logan's Run
    5: The Last Starfighter

Was wondering if someone wold mention Logan's Run. Great call.

I second Jaws, and Blade Runner. They could each be awesome.

    And just for fun...

    All in the Family
    The Jeffersons
    Land of the Lost
    Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse

    #109 7 years ago

The Beverly Hills Cop trilogy would also have made a nice game.

Couldn't agree more! That is on my custom pin "to build" list.

    1)Rambo
    2)Escape From New York
    3)The Warriors
    4)Scarface
    5)The Godfather

    Movies and tv/themes
    1) Serenity (or the Firefly tv series). From my avatar no suprise. I personally think this one would really sell well in a small run, lots of Joss Whedon fans out there and I think the series especially would lend itself well to a mode based pin.

    2) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (tv theme, not movie, see above).

    3) Zombieland (or Walking Dead). Love me some zombie. Zombieland is a great movie, Walking dead a great tv series.

    4) Harry Potter

Hmm. Guess I only have four.

    #113 7 years ago

More a TV theme, although they did make a movie too: Reno 911. It's been a long time since I found some good humor in a recent pin. It may not be good humor according to others, but the show had some truly fun scenes imho

I just started a thread like this! Oops. I figured one like it must have existed

    1. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
    2. Pulp fiction
    3. Half Baked
    4. They Live! (it could have black lights that activate and make the plastics glow "obey" and "submit")
    5. Enter the Dragon (the guy who said Game of Death made me think of it. Both would be amazing.)

    #119 6 years ago

A lot of great ideas. Ones I would add to the many good ones I've seen:

    1) M*A*S*H - probably the best TV show ever; would be a tough sell nowadays
    2) Porsche - not sure what kind of story line, but I'd love a Porsche-themed/designed pin
    3) U2 - in the spirit of the AC/DC pin, a U2 one would be awesome
    4) Jersey Chronicles - could be hilarious if done right
    5) Hockey - maybe not NHL with the buffoons running the show, but a modern pin with a hockey theme would be awesome.

Oops, skimmed the OP and title; thought this was any theme, not just movies.

    #125 6 years ago

If it was any theme I think The Flash would be a good SH pin.

    #126 6 years ago

I totally blew this one! Cant believe this slipped my mind

    #139 6 years ago

my top 5 in random order:

    1. Ghostbusters (still don't understand why till this date, it would have been an excellent theme)
    2. Harry Potter (must me a license issue i think because everything you can imagine has been made)
    3. Toy Story (a nice colorfull playfield with Toys ofcourse!!!)
    4. The Matrix (why Johnny Mnemonic and not this excellent movie???)
    5. Chronicles of Narnia (would make a great fantasy pin)

    #140 6 years ago

My favorites themes to play if done right.

    Zombieland
    Big Lebowski
    Harry Potter
    Monty Python
    Muppets

Otherwise they would be just another wasted theme. Was really excited about possibilities of Sopranos and Transformers but ultimately disappointed in each. Sopranos felt it had been given five minutes of thought and then rushed out the door. It does not generate any level of achievement or enjoyment. Transformers needed transforming toys and few rule tweaks. Rules will be done in short order but nothing can make up for missing robots.

    #141 6 years ago

    1. Fight Club
    2. The Incredibles
    3. Evil Dead Movies
    4. Rocky Horror Picture Show (why not?)

    #142 6 years ago

    1. The Big Lebowski
    2. Fritz the Cat
    3. Joe Dirt
    4. Monty Python
    5. Tommy Boy

    #143 6 years ago

    1) V for Vendetta
    2) Firely / Serenity
    3) A new Bond pin
    4) Forbidden Planet
    5) Mars Attacks
    Other: Archer (TV show)

    #144 6 years ago

    Forrest Gump

    #145 6 years ago
