Just curious what people's top 3 pins are but base decision on pure gameplay - not the overall package.

For me would be something like -
    1. AFM
    2. WH20
    3. FT

This is purely on gameplay and these 3 games always seem to have me pressing the start button for one more go. They are not my top 3 if I took other factors into account.

FT and TAF would be near the top of my list.

I would go with these three strictly on gameplay/fun.
    1. SM
    2. AFM
    3. WH20

Tough one..... I guess I don't have enough experience to say.

I am really enjoying FT for sure. I had only played one game before I bought it. I have been playing it a LOT more than any of my other pins recently. I just keep coming back for more... Very addictive pin.

FT gets a vote from ShaneTastic.

    1. STTNG
    2. LOTR
    3. TSPP

Very tough for me it makes my head hurt. If your talking more modern games I guess Frankenstein, JM and RBION. They have plenty of depth and challenge without getting boring.

I would also have liked to put a tactical game in there like Centaur, Dracula or CSI in there.

    Rolling Stones baby! Nothing compares!!!!!!!!!

OK, now that I am done being a jerk, I will have to take a break to think about the real answer

AFM. Simple ruleset but very difficult to RTU. Fun for noobs and challenging for players.

    TAf. Just classic

WH2O. Good flow, nuanced rules, fun.

There are some big name games here that I haven't played so...based on experience...
    1 SM
    2 AFM
    3 FH

    1.AFM
    2.WH20
    3.TSPP

AFM, SM and MB for me. I prefer games with flow.
However, I have never played Totan or Shadow to be able to compare them.

I tried hard to come up with a list of three games, but I found it very difficult. For me, it's almost impossible to separate pure gameplay from the other aspects of a machine.

That is tough to say. Games can be great because they are hard. They can be fun just for the pure joy they instill. They can be fun for a sense of accomplishment/depth.

    Shadow for being hard
    funhouse for pure fun
    lotr for depth

    Taxi
    LOTR
    Pinbot

And yes, this list will probably consist of 2 or 3 different titles based on whatever I am playing 6 months from now.

My latest list ( always subject to change)

    SM
Tron ( its new to the barn)
MSF ( a sleeper but for some reason I really like the play)

HS2 is pretty fun I'm finding out.

    #25 12 years ago

    1. DW
    2. I500
    3. Black Hole, just because it's so damn hard

FT was fun for a long time, but I finally got sick of it.

    1.Demolition man
    2.Star Trek TNG
    3.Swords of Fury

My list moves around too much, and I'm not tied in to a particular "top 3", but some of my favs, in no particular order, are AFM, IM, and LOTR.

    Taxi
    Whirlwind
Lethal Weapon 3. Yes the gun and dmd game play rocks for 800.
    Sttng
    Ngg

    I cant pick 3.

I never played Mm ot Ft so i cant compare.

I guess I just prefer the 80s machines: Black Knight 2000, Earthshaker, Swords of Fury.
