I have Ghostbusters pro, Judge Dredd, Independance Day, Police force and Xenon in a bowling alley. I live in a small town and my location is the only place Where you can play pins or arcade games. Gb is my top earner right now, however it's the only game priced at 1.00 and the newest in the lineup. All other games are .50 per play. All my games do well, but one thing I've noticed is that kids and adults love bright games. I had my Judge Dredd on location for about 2 months with incondescent bulbs installed and then replaced them with LEDs and I noticed my earning went up. Bright pins catch attention. Dull dim games seam to not get as many quarters dumped in them.
One thing I would suggest to anyone wanting to put pins on location is to make sure you get 70% or more. Right now I'm splitting 60-40 with the location I'm at. I keep 60 they get 40 and the money I get from the machines just goes right back into repairs and upgrades. I've only been doing this for 5 months now and my profits have been growing every month. I'm aiming to get one more machine in there and have 6 at this location and then look for another location to put a few games and rotate my collection between the two. I also have a few arcade machines in this location as well. I have a 60-1, Star Wars Trilogy and Asteroids. Star Wars does the best out of the arcades and earns about as much as a pin At 50 cents a play.
