I was thinking about this the other day. 8k is a lot to have tied up in a game. Some people may find out they'd rather have their money back and, due to how cognitive dissidence works, decide the game "just isn't for them" and re-rate it lower.
I think it has a good shot to stay number one though, there are a lot of old relic votes for it that under our current ranking system won't go away. Relic votes, in my mind, are votes from long since gone pinsiders who do not reflect the current pinside population. If you suspended votes from those who have not logged on in a year the rankings would look very different in my view.
