Crack the Sky - curious if anybody outside of the mid Atlantic heard of these guys. Very tight band that still put on a awesome show
Damn this thread makes me want my Firebird AND mullet back : )
Quoted from Rezdog:Kix - HammerJacks.....I still got that itch
When I hear you mention HammerJacks, Kix and seeing you are from MD......definitely not glam related, but any affinity for Wrathchild (America)?

Danger Danger's lead singer (Ted Poley) is also a pinball collector! Sold him a Cue Ball Wizard a few months back!
Wild Child by WASP.
This song has as much harmony as any Dokken song. In an interview, Blackie Lawless said his only regret was he was an exceptional baseball player, good enough to play pro.

They are not bad. I never heard of them. But Googling and they are still around 38 years later. Sold 12 millions albums.
Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart got me through this Era. They had it going on for a short time, great Band, Billy Powell from Lynard Synard on keyboards, fantastic bass player and lead guitarist.
Mylon was a good friend of George Harrison and got his start when he sold two Gospel songs to Elvis. Yeah, he is the father of Christian Rock and had the hair.
Wolves in Sheeps Clothing
The Warrior
Its Alright

They threw raw meat into the crowd. lol.
In The Decline of Western Civilization, The Metal Years, there is a memorable scene with their guitarist Chris Holmes talking with his mother and the interviewer while floating on a raft in a pool. Very memorable.
Tesla - Little Suzi
What you give
Mr Big - Wind me up
Blame it on my youth
Addicted to that rush
Kid - Blow my fuse

You can see it on the Live at the Lyceum show.
They were and still are fantastic, got to see them on one of their last US tours a few years ago. When I was 15 sat down with my friends to watch it on a crappy import VHS tape, had only heard of them in some of the European Rock mags. We loved them from the start, and they're still held in pretty high regards even today, even though like all other bands, the earlier work was their best.
Here's another great song/video, kind of twisted of course.
I bet some of you here would have loved to have been at this extravaganza of an anniversary party.
I even bought the T-shirt.

Some one mentioned Kevin Dupree and Quiet Riot Cum on feel the Noize. I always liked that song.
But I like the version from Slade a little better.

They played my high school with this lineup. Someone mentioned the guitar player earlier. He won the battle of the bands that day. I voted for him.
I became friends with the bass player and his wife later while he was running a video rental store, during a time when he was trying to come out of grieving. Some of the nicest and coolest people I ever had the pleasure to meet.

Hot Damn !! That is a guitar army backed by a kick ass drummer.

Irvine Meadows when that came out. They were trading off headlining with Great White on that tour, and Tesla got the nod that night. Blew some hair back for sure. Yes, I finally remember what was decent about the 80s. We were reliving the 70s.
You have to include some hair metal ballads. (Didn't most of the mainstream hair metal bands decide sooner or later that ballads were their most lucrative option?)
Here's the best of them, in my opinion... Tesla- Love Song

Little Suzi, Chagnes, and Getter Better were great tunes. They used to be played on the radio all the time.

Modern Day Cowboy - good tune.
I have a real special treat for you guys tonight. Greg Giuffria, Punky Meadows, and their band Angel.
The most amazing hair to ever grace a stage.
Ha! Great list.
I didn't see any Steelheart on there.
Everybody Loves Eileen

I have a few singles from Angel in my jukebox. They were touted as the ying/yang to KISS (both were on Casablanca), but it never happened for them.

I went to their concert promoting the third album and it was not very good. The warmup band The Godz was more fun to watch. I did however somewhat like Angel's second album Heluva Band when I was a teenager.
