Have you ever received a gift card that is Amazon or Harbor Freight specific and thought - how can I make my workshop better?

What is the best tool or improvement you have made to your workshop area or toolbox from an item(s) on Amazon/Harbor Freight with pinball/arcade game repair/restoration in mind?

My latest purchase is another pair of Weller shearcutters (excellent for snipping leads close to the board after soldering AND clipping IC legs to remove the chip first, then desolder each leg):

Swap Amazon for Harbor Freight and I can add a ton to this list.

Harbor Freight is actually a decent place to shop for tools like that...quality is very good and if there is ever an issue HF takes it back/exchanges without a problem. Kind of like the Sears of old before they went toes-up.

Hemos! https://a.co/d/6hm3ziQ One of the best $14 I've ever spent

I don't disagree, but HF won't accept my Amazon gift card lol. That said, let's see your HF ideas and I'll look for similar on Amazon.

    Harbor Freight is my jam.

The air nailer/stapler combo for doing trim/baseboards in your house or ground braid/GI sockets, or the wide crown stapler for running new ground braid:

Parts tray - can even stick it to the side rails while you are tearing down a machine:

Evaporust - I put that shit on everything! I am working on a couple of 80s machines like Classic Bally, Classic Stern they always have some rusty parts.

IMHO for $50 two Amazon tools not made in China are more valuable than a shopping cart full of Harbor Freight tools. Gotta admit my magnet grabber is only 8" or so so I could probably find use for that longer grabber somebody posted.

Those screw removal pliers are a great idea. Never seen those before, but needed this tool many times in the past.

Thought of this thread today when I used Engineer PZ-59 gripping pliers to take a stripped nut off my positive battery cable - no socket, wrench, vise grip , standard plier was gonna do this job and the PZ-59 just needed a little bit of material to get a grip and it spun right off. Funny thing, I was almost at the point of cutting the bolt before remembering these were in the tool box.

I got mine at Costco when they were on sale for $79! Best $79 I've ever spent in this hobby, hand down. That 45º setting is so absolutely perfect for moving pins, it's insane.
