what's in your workshop or garage that you added since you started this hobby?

For me : polisher , tumbler, pinball Jack , pinball lift , hand truck , ratchet straps , jewelers lamp, movers blankets, I've got a master tool box in the garage stuffed with hand tools prior to this hobby but I've added another chest in the basement with a lesser version of the garage set. What got me thinking was I just ordered a second 7/8 deep socket just for downstairs because I'm tired of going out to the garage for it every time I change a lock. I also added a 1/4 deep socket for playfield posts .

Most of what you just said. x3 on the pinball carts. One for the basement, one for the garage, and one at my parents' house where another dozen machines reside.

My tool sets have all evolved around what I need for shopping out a pinball machine and I have three sets - one in the basement, one in the garage, and one in a tool box used for service calls.

I continue to be amazed at how often the same tools apply around the house on just general upkeep.

Just two harbor dollys and a small 'Drs' bag for tools. I feel pretty important carrying that little bag around. "Yeah, guy who knows what they're doing coming through". Not.

I always thought it would be neat to have pinball lift cart. But then for the last 10 years, I've been telling myself I don't really need it I'm done buying more machines. Yeah right.

With the amount I've had going thru here the skateboard method got old in a hurry.

I have made 2 jigs. one is almost a lower cab with cutouts. it sits on top of my roll around table, and can hold regular playfields right side up, and flipped over.
The other, is like the backbox. it can hold the board right side up, and flipped over.
I also have jones plug extension cables made so I can hook up boards out of the pin, and do live tests.

I recently picked one of these up from HF. I've been having some carpal tunnel issues with my hand that make using my traditional ratcheting screwdrivers painful. But this thing works great. Bit storage in the handle and 3 different length positions for the shank.
