I am only 2 months away from getting my first new inbox pinball machine, getting excited now! In preparation for receiving my machine I would like to get some feedback on what tools should I buy for repair and maintenance? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

    Quoted from wiggy07:

On my website I created two pages one for tools that I own and also cleaning supplies for my games
    Tools :
    http://www.pinballsupernova.com/tools.html
    Cleaning :
    http://www.pinballsupernova.com/cleaning.html

    Thanks for the info,
I looked at the products you use and noticed alcohol, do that damage the factory clear coat?

    Quoted from mario_1_up:

If your getting a spike system game the biggest tool to have is a pile of money to buy new board when they fail.

I am getting a Metallica pro

    Quoted from EvanDickson:

For a nib, you shouldn't need a lot of what's listed. The lengthy lists are more appropriate for those who are keeping and maintaining a fleet of classic machines.
    Must have to set up:
    Small socket set.
    Carnauba wax.
    Will come in handy eventually:
    Screwdriver with assorted driver bits.
    Soldering iron plus solder.
    Wire trimmers / strippers.
    Multi meter.

Any particular brand of carnauba wax? Type?
