Approx. 16 in 1993!
Of course I think this incredible surge in pinball is fantastic, but have we gone from nothing to ridiculous? Do you honestly think the market can sustain this? I doubt it.
(Yes I realise some won't make it in 2015. And I may have missed something.)

Just thought Id resurrect/update this list now that we are midway through 2015 and so much has changed since end 2014.

From 27 Slated releases for 2015, we are now down to 13 definite or likely. Not really surprising and much more sustainable.

cooked71 It would be nice to compare "slated for 2015" and "actual delivery in 2015" in the OP.

4 titles in 2014.
Approx. 16 in 1993!

Promised NEW titles to be released in 2015 = 22
Actual NEW Titles Released in 2015 = 6 (3 Stern, 3 Others)
Total titles sold/produced in 2015 = 12 (9 produced by Stern, 3 by Others)

Promised NEW titles to be released in 2016 = ?
Actual New Titles Released in 2016 = 7 (4 Sterns, 3 Others)
Actual titles sold/produced in 2016 = 19 (13 produced by Stern, 5 by Others)

******

Haven't included Scoregasm Master in the list for 2015. (What happened to that??)

So 2015 was pretty disappointing - 22 promised, 6 Delivered.
Cant go back and remember what was slated for 2016, but probably a little less than 22 - 7 Delivered.

No question Stern is still the powerhouse, but we already new that.

Healthy growth in actual games in production:
2014: 8 (?)
2015: 12
2016: 19
