Earthshaker
Williams, 1989I’ve got an Earthshaker and suddenly it’s wanting to eject two balls to shooter lane every time I start game and on all balls. I ran diagnostic tests each switch in trough is working. I have the correct number of balls in the machine as well.
I’ve tried to research this but pinside directs me to newer pins with optos and I can find a good guide for this common issues for something like a Williams Sys 11.
Any tips on what to do next Beyond switches and switch edges in the diagnostic menu. Thanks
Have you checked the shooter lane switch? I’ve not seen an extra ball feed issue not related to a switch problem.
If shooter lane switch is good, try manually firing the shooter lane feeder coil (jumper non-banded side of coil to ground braid) in switch test and see what you see. Also check for a loose wire on those switches that may cause intermittent contact.
