All Tommys had the shaker board installed at the factory, but no shaker. Only the prototype software supported the shaker. If I recall the bombs dropping triggered the shaker. I'd be interested how yours is hooked up as someone did this after the fact. I've always wanted to add the shaker to my Tommy!
Wait, coil test? I thought you said the shaker works in gameplay?
If I recall any TOMMY would work in coil test mode if you installed a shaker. The problem was they removed the software calls after the prototype software version which stopped the shakers from working in gameplay.

On a dutch forum someone answered that he probably knows whose collection it comes from and that it's a prototype. Can't find anything else to confirm it's a proto.. nothing else special on it, serial number isn't low (but there's a low nr on the 'cabinet number' paper inside the cabinet ? different nr from behind the backbox..)
