gweempose and rajung it sounds like the best thing to do is replace base sub. I will buy one and go for it. I was also going to replace the play field insert lights with cointaker LED's. Have you done that yet? So far the super bright cool whites are working real well under my yellow, orange and white inserts ( alot of those colors on Tommy) on other machines. The hum sounds like a grounding issue to me. I am fortunate that I do not have the Hum and 95% of the time my kicker works.
