Hi all,

I recently moved my Tommy from one room to another and now it re boots/ locks up during play. I have checked the 5V rail it is a 5.05V. Sometimes it does not reboot and sort of half shuts down . The CPU is off, no display and GI is still on. At this point no 5V and 12v is sitting at 13.5V , ( it was bang on 12V before error)

I have checked the connectors, fuses and Caps, ( measured Caps in circuit , not ideal although they look and measure ok).

Can i assume the problem is with the power supply. If so , I would rather replace rather than fix.
Should I get what looks like a NOS locally or should I go for a Xpin or a Rottendog setup?

Cheers Guys

Update..All fixed. the 5v volt decided to drop out all together . I managed to find a post re this, ( sorry should of looked harder).
It turned out to be C2 . It was obviously on it way out. I removed it and the track underneath was screwed. Replaced the Cap and ran a wire trace. the machine needs to have a few games run through it but all looks good.
The game starts instantly ..It never used to. there was always a second or two delay.
