I wanted to light the engines of my TOMMY pinball machine and found it difficult to position a socket there or install a standard LED strip. So I decided to build my own little mod. It consists of two small boards that slide exactly over the propeller axle and are mounted with one of the screws that holds the motor to the airplane bracket.
Each board has 3 SMD LEDs and one of the boards also has a rectifier and a cap so it can also be connected to GI. In my TOMMY I've connected it to the airplane lamp (#56).
The mod has all cables and connectors already in place so it can be installed in 15 minutes with just a screw driver.
I used red LEDs in my TOMMY but I can equip the boards with almost any color, just ask.
I've made a few spare boards if somebody´s interested. I can sell the complete kit for 25 USD shipped.
