Noticed this error coming up on my TOM. Looks like they are the optos on the board underneath the trunk. I tried cleaning them with a q-tip but it seemed to have no affect. Is there some other way to clean these, or does the whole board have to be replaced (if there are even replacement boards out there). I don't see any visible damage on the board when I look at it with the playfield up. Any suggestions?

Seemed to have solved one issue and caused another. I unsrewed the metal disc around the optos. Tested each one by sliding a piece of paper between each one. All of them tested out fine. Booted up the machine again and came up with no errors. Screwed back on the metal disc and tried playing a game and the trunk wouldn't turn as it should. Went back and double checked that the slight notch in the metal plat was lined up with opto on the left as I found it and it was. Booted up the machine and started getting a trunk motor error. I can't figure out what gives. I got the trunk to rotate as it should just a few minutes earlier.

I did. Funny thing though..I went and left the machine alone for about 20 minutes. Went back turned it on and pooof, error gone. Played a few games on it just to be sure and no problems...weird.
