Hi
I wonder if there is a means to strenghten the bottom of the trunk plastic frame. After 50 shots, it breaks .... Should I purchase a better repro and where or can I put sthing on the plastic to make it more solid?
thanks for your avices

You will find other threads about this. Bottom line I used Car sound damping on the inside of mine. You just need it on the bottom half or so. It is the self adhesive kind with a silver backing. Cant remember what brand is called. But Line your trunk with it and you will not have the problem again.
Magicchiz
Magicchiz is referring to Dynamat. I put a line of hot glue along the bottom and it stopped cracking.
I have seen black Velcro used and it has protected it quite good...... just across the bottom of the trunk.
There is a German guy on here that was selling a repro that was supposedly unbreakable.

you can probably contact him through the German pinball forum....he's got quite a following. Awesome mods. Too bad PPS shut him down here. I might hit him up for some chrome Shadow Daggers myself. GL

I used 3M super strength double-sided automotive tape on mine, and it held up well. I lined around the inside of the bottom of the trunk, and left the red backing on the other side of the tape.
I followed this guy's lead and used fiberglass. One trunk has lasted for years with relatively heavy play.

I have polyesther/ fiberglass mastic for repairing the cabinet/backbox used corners. Might use that as well for the trunk maybe
