Didn't see this posted, apologies if I missed it.

Voice actor Tom Kane, well known around here for doing the callouts on Stern's Star Wars, had a stroke in November that may have rendered him unable to return to voice work (his family just recently made it public). His voice is all over the place -- The Clone Wars, Archer, the current announcer guy on the monorail, etc, at Disney World...

Very sad news, wishing him the best.

He’s both the intro announcer on Clone Wars, and Yoda, and a million other voices you’ve heard. He started his career as a kid announcing local commercials in Kansas City, sounding like a 3-packs-a-day adult. He’ll get better. Nicest man you’ve ever met in your life.

As huge Disney World fans we have heard his voice a million times on the monorail! We wish him well!
