Back left of the playfield there are a few bundles of yellow/white-yellow wires for the GI circuits. I can't tell from my pictures how those are supposed to be connected. I know originally they were soldered to some stapled pieces of flat wire. If I understand correctly the bundles don't actually attach to anything, those connections were just a place to join the various branches, is that right?
pasted_image (resized).pngThat's what someone said in the TOM club thread and it dawned on me that yes, that makes sense. The part that was weird was my game didn't have the metal leads connected anymore, someone must have replaced the sockets at some point so I was trying to figure out why those wires were attached to this lone metal tab. Makes sense now.
