Got lucky on this one. I scored a 1977 Atari Airborne Avenger. The guy said it was "partially working" and when I saw the machine, it was completely dead aside from the GI. I used that as a bargaining point and got it for a pretty darn good deal. After wiggling the connectors, I got it to fire up and play, but it needs a TON of work. This will be an interesting project. (like I needed more projects...)

I've got one I'm waiting to work on after winter that I picked up for cheap as well. My playfield and cabinet are in excellent shape but the backglass was previously shattered and then pieced back together. Surprisingly I've been able to find parts pretty easily, aside from the backglass. There's a few plastics on JT Amusements but all of yours look pretty good.

I'm excited to follow your progress, good luck!

Masking tape on the flippers? Everybody knows that duct tape works much better, is stronger, and is much more durable.

There are so many things I love about Atari pinballs. Great artwork and a backglass that's not obscured by scoring displays. Nice widebody designs. I also love the coin doors.

Unfortunately, no voice and game specific parts are difficult to find. Boards are also not easy to work on.

Still, a fun era in pinball and a classic American company. Enjoy!

I've never seen a game with the scoring on the apron. Pretty cool.
