I have a Zaccaria Time Machine that I picked up as a fresh from the container re-import.
Lucky for me it booted up and played fine with a good cleaning and shop job.
It had no electronic or mechanical problems at all, and played fine for quite a while.
But..............
I had a pop bumper switch stick closed, causing the bumper to fire continuously.
Before I realized what was going on and shut the game off, it did some damage.
It burned up the pop bumper coil, so I replaced that with the equivalent Williams coil per Dave Gersic's website.
The 3 amp under playfield fuse was burnt, so I replaced that.
Game boots up fine, goes into attract correctly, and will start and play a game.
All the switches, lamps, and sound work fine.
There are several coils not firing in test or in game. They are:
06, right target bank,
08, left pop bumper
11, right pop bumper
21, motor relay (I think)
22, center pop bumper
Everything else seems to be fine.
I do see a burned spot on the interface (driver) board in the area near R117, Q13, and C32
Seems to me like I need to send the interface board to someone with a clue for repairs.
Am I missing anything?
Anyone here do Zaccaria board repairs? If not, anyone know if Dave Gersic is still doing repairs?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for those who sent suggestions.
David Gersic is still doing Zac board repairs, so sending my board to him.

A few pics.
Playfield and cabinet look much better than the boards.

Not sure about the time machine, but that’s a good looking lost world

That’s a nice Time Machine. The coin bezel on the front looks to be intact. Those seem to get smashed a lot. Looks all original from what I can see. The face in the head doesn’t rotate in yours does it? iPDB says some early machines did but I’ve not seen one.

No, but it is a separate piece. Rotating would be pretty sweet.

It's a great game. Guy I got it from was kinda odd though.

Getting a machine from someone kinda odd seems to go with the territory. I picked up my Soccer Kings from a guy in Indianapolis. Nice enough guy, but all the houses around his were boarded up. I made the mistake of telling him that I knew refrigeration, so he wanted me to fix and old Coke machine he had. Did a quick diagnosis and found the compressor was shorted to ground so couldn't fix it easily. All the while the sun was sliding down over the horizon and kids on the street were looking through the windows of my van. Maybe a bit paranoid, but couldn't wait to get out of Dodge.
