Do these posts line up with their top 10 rated pins on here?
Not exactly a heavy hitter just played a lot of games including the rare/odd stuff. To get the it to 10 kinda tough no real order to them either.
1 Cactus-canyon over Big-bang-bar
2 Medievil madness over Attack from mars / Return from mars
3 Tales of the abrian night over Theatre-of-magic
4 Goin-nuts over Spirit haven't been graced with a haunted-house experience
5 Cirqus-voltaire over Creature-from-the-black-lagoon Magic-girl was broken only got to see in person
6 Ace-high over Central-park
7 Time-machine over Star-wars
8 Pirates-of-the-caribbean over Big-lebowski need more play time on this
9 Star-gazer over Big-game
10 Mystery-castle over Farfalla w/see though backglass
I was trying to include a few all-time faves as opposed to only things I still play a lot, because I sure as heck ain't playing much MM these days. I'm sure half my list would change if I made it again from scratch next week.
yeah, I think it is pretty much impossible to ask a guy with 20 games (or 30, 40, 80, whatever) to make a top 10 list.
They have so many because they like them all
Pretty much what I have upstairs in my garage they have and will be in collection for some time plus a few gems downstairs as well.
TZ (could be replaced with Dialed In)
(Essentially these two are the same game so if I had to pick one it would be MM because it is funnier.)
GOT if I chose one Brian Eddy game
Just my .02 cents looks like I’m in good company lots of similarities in our picks.
Alright, any pin that is working well enough to not notice it is broken is in my top 10 list.
What I have noticed is that most pinball people consider Eight Ball Deluxe a great game, achievement, ruleset, etc. Most real pinball players consider it a cornerstone title of its era and I believe it should rank in the top ten pins of all time. The top 100 list here is skewed. A game should be 2 years old until it is allowed to be included in rankings, so it can account for the honeymoon period. All you Totan fans out there, I still don't get it.
The longer you're in the hobby the more variety to your favourites.
The local pinball bar has Stern's and Williams' greatest hits and the last time I was there I played Seawitch all night. I don't think there's many games I haven't played - I've certainly played every game listed here - so at this point I'm more interested in novelty. I'd rather play Stars than Walking Dead.
Have played pins a long time and for me this is the list.
Twilight zone. If you have ever played this game with ALL the magnets and options you will understand what Bally had created.
Alien LE. Yes we all know the back story but for those that have this machine will have it in your top 10. Ongoing rule set and scary!
Lord of the rings for its great rule set and theme.
Indiana Jones original.Great theme and rule set.
Phantom of the Opera. How good is that artwork and playing it in the dark with its soundtrack.
Cactus Canyon. Really nice to look at and plays well.
Tommy for its colour and surprisingly good game play.Just needs a different translite.
Sopranos.Captivating rule set and fun to play.
Guns N Roses.Another surprisingly good rule set with a soundtrack to match
And finally Breakshot. The pool parlour theme with the eye catching translite just brings me back to the first time I played pinball.
