    There is really only one question you need to ask.

    Do you crimp often or are you redoing an entire machine's harness?

    If the answer is yes, then ratchet, and save your hands and time.
    If not, a quality manual crimper will be more than sufficient for your needs.
    Just don't be cheap, or try to use needle nose pliers.
