Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Molex crimping tool. I have not used a crimping before so I want to be sure I'm picking one that will be easy to use for a first timer. Is it best to have a ratchet time or non ratchet? Any advice is appreciated.

Ratchet, you will always fully crimp with it. You can still miss the wires if you don't pay attention, but it's harder to make a mistake

Any suggestion on a good one? An experience with this one?

I've had my eye on an Astro Pneumatic, since there were a few mentions of it, but I haven't fully researched it yet.

I'm still using yellow-handled manual crimpers for now. The next time I have a project that needs 100 crimps done, I'll probably look into it some more.

Ok the one I posted looks like it gets some nasty reviews.

So I think I have narrowed it down to these. Any opinions

There is really only one question you need to ask.

Do you crimp often or are you redoing an entire machine's harness?

If the answer is yes, then ratchet, and save your hands and time.
If not, a quality manual crimper will be more than sufficient for your needs.
Just don't be cheap, or try to use needle nose pliers.
