Hello

My TNA will not boot.

Checked all fuses

Checked all wires and plugs

Display does have power, but says no signal for a brief bit, then nothing.

No signs of booting. We do measure 5V and 12V on a few plugs in backbox.

Power Supplies seems to produce correct Voltage.

I do have all White lights on playfield, and backbox lights are On.

Thanks!
Scott

Maybe CMOS battery died?

Does not respond to a code update

testing CR2032 now for 3.0V or more.....stand by

2.82V

So, probably not enough?

Will replace that now

Right....it is dead

Going to store "Batteries Plus" right now to get a larger size Lithium 3V battery

Probably like an AA size thing.

At what voltage is a cr2032 battery dead?

A brand new 3 volt battery (say CR2032 for instance) has about 3.3 volt. when the battery drops down to 2.8-2.7 volt it is considered dead.

Fixed
Was a dead cmos battery

So I changed the battery and it worked for a week or Two.....

Then my settings and High score are not saved on reboot

Bought another battery and same thing!

Do I need a new computer or what Scott?

Every time I power On the game, it boots and plays fine but high scores and my settings are back to default.

WTF?

No

You can unplug the battery

Game reacts like mine.

Game boots and plays fine without a battery and settings do not save.

I think a pin or solder on a pin for my battery is damaged

Dead or weak battery plugged in ≈ no boot

Missing battery ≈ boots and plays but won't save settings
