Quoted from Mitch:

pretty much every new game from any company.

could just leave it at this.

Been saying this for a while now. The secondary market has shifted on ALL brand new games. Stern all models, Spooky, JJP, AP, ALL MANUFACTURERS!

If you buy new, you should expect that in the vast majority of cases that you will be losing 10-20% when you sell.

That said, some will hold value or even go up. Good games where supply is less than demand.

550 is not a big number by any means. Comparable to most SternLEs. Who knows what the future holds for TNA on Secondary. I for one dont care. Game is so damn fun to play and that is all that matters to me.

yeah, just listened.

Sounds like TNA stops at 550. They may bring it back, they may not. If they ever do bring it back, sounds like it will be a long bit.

In other words, all this means is that you should put in your order now if you want a TNA NIB before they take it off the line.

Spooky aint stern so swapping games on the line takes more than a few days and guessing it only happens if there is demand down the road to justify another batch (batch being 50 still I would guess)

don't like buying and selling.

lol. you have sold more pins than most in the time you have been in the hobby.

You definitely like buying and selling It is OK to admit you addiction.

Quoted from fantarama:

you mention a lot of qualities for ACNC but "fun" is not among those.

come play the one we have on route. Decide for yourself.

I personally think it is quite fun...

I corrected it. Two still for sale near me for less than new prices... waiting for the “skyrocket” to happen, LOL.

links please. I have a friend looking for one right now for a deal

Quoted from snyper2099:

Certainly, but it's a bad sign when people sell before the company making the game can even get the ones that they have sold all shipped out their customers.

can you please hook me up with the 2 that you know of for sale that are already going for a bargain?

I have looked all over all the usual spaces and can not find anything.

Exactly. Not everyone in the pinball community uses Pinside or the internet for that matter.

so you are saying you dont have contact info on these multiple TNAs at bargain prices???

Quoted from jar155:

Either you know two guys struggling to sell their games and don't want to help them out, or you don't actually know of two games for sale. Which is it?

I wish I could be so spot on and concise.

Quoted from fosaisu:

You should swap whysnow the TNA leads for the name of the distributor that consistently sells him new Sterns for hundreds less than anyone else can get them for.

I have spoken with the distributor about it. In short, you have to buy every new game that comes out in order to get the best prices.

Buy the last 15 games in a row and they may give you a deal also.

That said, everyone got the awesome deal that Marco was offering on all the Maiden show games. That was the best price I had ever seen. I should have bought 10 of them and sold them all at the shows for a mark up.

Quoted from rai:

As long as Spooky will be able to make more, the price will not skyrocket. Many people prefer buying new even at a slight increase from used.
If there was a finite number of TNA pins who can say, but it’s open ended production so imo the used market will not be greater than the nib price.

the one caveat being that if they take a long break then once again demand may out pace supply.

Assuming that post 550, it will be a year or 2 before they even opt to make an additional run (based on demand) and it takes Spooky a bit to change over everything given their size.

I personally think with only 550 to start that this game will solidify in most collections over time and you won see it change hands. Then steadily demand will increase and Spooky will run another batch. IN the time between, prices will likely rise. At the same time, given the pace of Stern NIB price hikes and the cost of other NIB games, 3 more releases and 6k will be the cost of a NIB pro.

I could also see SPooky needing to slightly increase price before they do any additional runs (inflation and increasing manufacturing costs a few years from now). That of course will also push prices on used games. Hard to predict, fun to discuss.

I am looking forward to my second TNA arriving by xmas or shortly after with any luck.

Quoted from delt31:

Not sure if that was directed towards my previous post. I'm just answering whysnow as he seemed to have missed the current marketplace ad for this game.

no, I did not miss it.

Spyder is claiming bargain prices. I dont care for mods and $5 more than MSRP plus additional shipping is not a bargain in my book.

If you live in a local state, you could drive to Spooky factory and pick up your game tax free for $5995.

I am still waiting on spyder to provide these deals to anyone. They either dont exist or he is not interested in helping out his local collectors by cross posting here

Quoted from delt31:

I just go off of facts. Some guy is selling a like new modded TnA for 6k and can't sell it.

listed 6 days ago (over a holiday weekend) for more than brand new. That seems like the fact.
Combined with you just selling yours for more than original cost in the past few weeks...

All seems to me like the secondary market is still going strong.

I was asking Snyper where these supposed deals are. I am not looking for NIB prices on used games or in the case of your sale, more than NIB prices.

Deals folks, we are looking for supposed deals.

So much for the demand increasing prices: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/for-sale-total-nuclear-annihilation-14
Seems like prices are actually falling after the announcement.

? That is still above original cost (sorry but mods dont add value for most sales).
