Does this pin have 2 interlock switches on the coin door?

This seems to depend on how much voltage is used inside the box. >50 requires an interlock I believe.

Really, no one can or will answer this? Too busy playing the game?

You posted on Christmas. Maybe give folks a little bit to answer?

I don't think it needs one. I believe that the software controls it.

Thank you.

Here is what I think I've learned:

I have a Medieval Madness Remake from Chicago Gaming. In the days when Williams made the original machine they chose a coil voltage (>= 50V) that required an interlock for code reasons (think: UL requirement). When Chicago Gaming reproduced it, they did just that, they just copied what Williams did. They didn't choose to alter the design to use 48V (or whatever is done in modern machines that alleviates the need for an interlock) so that they could omit the 2 interlock switches.

So you can assume that any remakes do what the original machine did. Example: Chicago's Attack from Mars Remake machine has interlocks.

It also may be that electrical code has changed or manufacturers figured out a way to get around the interlock requirement. I'm not an expert in this area. But based on what I've learned pins made today don't have them.
