Are you putting a switch on each side of the ramp or list one for both? Optos work with the Multimorphic hardware if you wanted to go that direction.

I think it looks good with the back box.

Did you kill the SW16 or the host computer’s CPU? If it’s just the SW16 you can order directly from multimorphic. Just set the dips the same and it should work right away unless the fatal short is still on your playfield.

The boards you pictured above are PD-16, PD for power driver. https://www.multimorphic.com/store/circuit-boards/pd-16/ Hopefully this is what you smoked. You can get a replacement from multimorphic, set the dips and (provided nothing else is wrong) you will be back in business in a few minutes. The SW-16 is the switch detection board which is about half the size of the PD-16. I'm still not certain what you mean by smoking the CPU board. There is the little linux PC MOBO which most would consider the CPU. There is also the P3-ROC which is the "CPU" for tying together the switches, LEDs boards and power driver boards. This medium sized board has 4 blue LEDs that rotate in a pattern when it's operating. Whatever smoked, I hope you are back and running soon.

OUCH! I wonder how that happened exactly. I wonder if somehow the 48V power got onto the 12V rail. That would do it. Probably not an overly expensive board though. < $200 I should think. Would you mind posting the replacement cost? If +48V did run down the +12 it could also take out the SW-16s and the amplifier. Is the monitor OK? That is also on 12V I think.

Glad you are back in business. As I recall, 48 V went down the 12V rail, right? What all did you have to replace?

I think you would need two of the equalizer displays. It’s only 7” long. Left and right channel?

I definitely want to see this come together.
