Only the LE comes with 5.25" speakers. The Premium and Pro have 4" speakers. Most brands require a speaker spacer because of the protruding tweeter, but these do not: Kicker 41DSC44 4".
Rockford Fosgate has a 4" pair that look like they would work as well, although I've not tried them.

If you're set on 5.25" speakers, you have to get this:

Those Kenwoods will work without spacers, as they are flush mount (which is why Stern uses them).

Yes for the "best" speaker upgrade, you can upgrade the amp and speakers with a pinwoofer kit (which does have 5.25" speakers). It's like a home theater in your pinball machine. I actually have his kit in mine and it's amazing.
