Quoted from R_Coles:Hi all- I recently got back into the hobby and picked up a used machine that had new Titan Silicone rubbers on it. I’m not too familiar with these rubbers but they seem to be very “grippy” and inconsistent to me. Sometime the transition from the in lane to the flipper is slowed down drastically, to the point where it throws my timing off. Other times it blasts right through. When I owned machines in the past I typically just used black rubbers and don’t remember this happening. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be that they are just new and need to be broken in or is this expected? Thanks.
This is why I never clean the flipper rubbers from Titan. Once they get dirty they lose that tackiness.
