Ok one last one for my Canadian friends...

Everyone refers to Bruce Springsteen as the Boss.

There is a Canadian musician who is also nicknamed “The Boss”. Who is it? I have met him a couple of times. He also did the theme song for an oscars movie.

June weekend would give me the impression that it's in the southern hemisphere. Probably one of the seven countries that lay stake to a part of Antarctica.

    I'm going to say Argentina?

Sunday I watched ESPN 8 and saw many of the previous years events. Saw things I never imagined took place and all I can say is ... Holy Schmoley the Ocho is Mucho Great. Some highlights included:

Diving competition where you pose in the air like you are going to do a bellyflop
People chasing a wheel of cheese down a steep hill
    Frog jumping
    Catching catfish with bare hands
    Golden tee championship
    Tetris championship
Jelle’s Marble Runs (marbles racing was fantastic)
    Dodgeball (5 person)
    Dodgeball with juggling
    Juggling
    Light saber fencing
    Axe throwing
Knife throwing with real people on spinning wheel for real

Hundreds of events come up from time to time so the broadcasts may be different every time you catch it. The 2 announcers for tetris were so excited that 30 min flew by. Pinball would stack up well against these other "sports" but the national; attention span is probably limited to half an hour. A future pinball event could be based on competition play but my idea would be to have time trials for teams of 3 contestants to move three upright pinball machines 100 feet without equipment, setup and level the games and finally to play one ball on each game, with time penalties for various low scores.
