There are decals available for those worn areas, if you want to go that route. Since those areas are very intricate, hand painting them is probably out of the question for someone who is unfamiliar with painting and color matching.
If you go with decals, just avoid *pinballparts* aka MAD Amusements. There are known issues with that seller.
