Does anyone have a favorite technique for removing paint splatter from a lacquer finish? I have a wood leg with dozens and dozens of pinhead-sized drops of turquoise and white paint. It appears to be overspray from a nearby painting project. I've tried olive oil (internet tip), mineral spirits, and lacquer thinner. So far, nothing.

    Thanks.

Magic eraser or fine steel wool.

Magic eraser worked for me. Just be careful.
